Abandoning the blankets, I climbed on top of him, straddling his thighs. Giving him my best puppy-dog eyes, I pouted slightly. “Please, Daddy?”

He could scarcely deny me anything when I pulled the title. Luke made sure Elias took time off this week and it had been approved. His leave time was the perfect opportunity for us to go and visit.

“Denver is a big city.”

“I’ll behave,” I cooed.

“What happens to little girls who misbehave?”

“They get punished.”

“It’s hard to take you seriously when your eyes are sparkling.” Elias tapped my nose. “Fine. We’ll go, but you need to listen.”

He caved entirely too easily, so I’d bet anything that he missed Luke as much as I did. “I’ll listen, Daddy. I promise!”

“You’re going to get me in trouble, aren’t you?”

“I’d never dream of it.” Kissing him gently, I pulled back but he tangled his hand in my hair. I loved the way he touched me, it always left me wanting more. “If you keep kissing me, Daddy, we’re never going to get off the couch.”

“Sounds like a good plan.”

“Daddy.” My lower lip trembled thinking he might have changed his mind.

“We’re going to visit Luke and then we’ll come home.”

Bouncing lightly on his lap, I tugged at the hem of his tee-shirt. He clucked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

“We’re both going to wind up sore tonight. Just wait and see.”

“Isn’t it more fun that way, Sir?”

“Naughty little thing. How do you think our road trip will feel while you’re plugged?”

“Please don’t use the plug.” Climbing off his lap, I held out my hands. “Let’s go.”

“So pushy suddenly. Care to tell me why?”

“I miss Luke and I know you do too. I’ll pack our bags! We’ll just stay with him tonight. He said he’s got a condo.” Giving him the cheesiest grin, I poked his sides, collapsing onto the couch though I’d just vacated it. Pinning me in place with his body, he grabbed both of my hands in one of his, trapping them over my head.

“I’m sure Luke misses us, but we can’t just invite ourselves to stay.”

I kissed Elias rougher than I had before, hoping he could read the things in my head I was too overwhelmed to share. I loved the time we had spent together but our dynamic balanced better with Luke like a tripod. Moaning into his mouth, I arched upward, but Elias stopped the motion.

“Promise me you’ll listen to everything I tell you to do until we are safely back home, Emma.”

“So, I don’t have to listen at home?”

Clenching and releasing his jaw several times, he stared at me. I hadn’t meant to get Elias worked up, especially not after our talks yesterday. We still had to tell Luke about it, and I dreaded that conversation.

“I’ll be the best girl, Daddy,” I assured him before he could threaten the plug or something worse.

“You’re already the best girl,” he praised. “Pick out clothes for tonight and tomorrow. We will pack a bag; however, we’re only staying if we are invited.”

“I hear you but you’re holding me like this is getting me aroused.”

Elias grazed his goatee along my cheeks, nipping my earlobe once before pulling away. “Good.” Slowly releasing his hold on me, he got to his feet and pulled me to a standing position. “Go do as I said.”

“Yes, Sir.” Giggling, I raced off as fast as my ankle would let me.
