“Mmm,” I cooed. “Thank you for taking such good care of me.”

“You’re welcome, sunshine.”

My entire body was buzzing in post-orgasm bliss. I enjoyed the sensation of being completely possessed by the two of them when they were inside of me together. I had nothing to compare it to, but I wanted to do it again and again. We should have embarked into a relationship years ago. Separate from all the physical fun we were having, it thrilled me that the relationship side of things was also a success. I’d been nervous for no reason. Tanner balancing our tripod was already succeeding in ways I couldn’t have imagined. As long as I followed the rules, we would continue on a good path. My heart felt close to bursting from the care, affection, and love the two of them poured on me.

Chapter 12

Dane

Tiana stared up at me suspiciously. She had every right to question my current motives. A few days ago, under the guise of relaxing, I had gently tricked Tiana into giving me exactly what she hoped a dream bedroom would look like. The fabrics, colors, furniture, artwork, all of it. She would likely throw a fit since she’d said more than once that she didn’t need anyone spoiling her, but I didn’t ask for her opinion on the matter. She had been living here with us for over a week, but Tiana stated more than once she felt awkward and out of place.

Transforming the boring guest room into a fluffy oasis for her would likely ease away some of her stress and help her relax. I successfully kept her out of the room all morning and into the afternoon under the guise of it being cleaned, while I’d ushered in a team of decorators and handymen through the backdoor. Her new wardrobe arrived in record time. I added a few extra things—some younger minded selections like poofy skirts, hair-bows, and sparkly socks. I hoped my choices would bring Tiana joy.

“Humor me, sunshine.” I held my hand out. “Come upstairs.”

“You’ve got a sneaky smile on,” she finally said after studying my face and lacing her fingers in mine. “What are you plotting?”

“Nothing much,” I said, tugging her to me.

“I thought you were working.” She blew out a breath. “Something you do way too much of. I’ve barely gotten to spend any time with you the past week or so.”

“I’m getting closer to leaving the business, but I’m not ready yet,” I lamented with a sigh. In the time she’d been staying with us, I spent more hours working than spending time with her. I hated living under the same roof but not being close to her. If I invited her into my office, she’d distract me. Not purposefully, but I would want to throw my agendas out the window and curl up with her. Nope. That wasn’t an option at the moment.

“Well, what will make you ready?” Her tone came out more snappish than usual. “I’m not trying to get you upset. I’m genuinely curious. If you’ve wanted to leave for so long, what’s it going to take for you to take that leap?”

“I’m calculating some strategic moves with my brother and sister. It’s not going as fast as I’d like, but they have been supportive of my plan.” Shaking my head, I wanted to clear the heaviness that filled the air whenever I thought about my career. I led us toward the stairs. “There are a lot of steps to this plan.”

“Ugh. I get it, but what’s gotten into you today?”

Refusing to ruin the surprise, I led her to the guestroom which was now officially hers. “Close your eyes.”

“You are acting so strange, Sir.” Tiana shut her eyes tightly. “I can’t see anything.”

Pushing her gently into the doorframe, I kissed her temple. “Open them.”

Blinking her eyes open, it took her a full thirty seconds for her to comprehend what she was looking at—a complete room makeover. Suddenly she rushed into the room at full speed, screeching. “The window seat is so fluffy!”

Tiana sat down for a moment before immediately leaping to her feet and gazing at the huge canopy bed. “Oh! Daddy! You bought me a princess bed!”

Something else caught her eye, and she padded to the closet. I’d had the entire room painted in soft pinks and pastel greens. The handles were emblazoned with her first initial done in a pretty script.

“Oh, Daddy,” she sighed happily.

“Keep exploring, darling.” I loved seeing her so happy, as well as hearing the sweet title that kept falling from her lips. I wanted to be her Daddy forever. Curiosity seemed to get the best of her and she opened the closet. Tiana ventured into the walk-in and found it full of outfits, including different types of shoes and slippers. Built-in shelves were installed along with two dressers. There was also a custom made vanity outfitted in the bedroom plus a desk with a large monitor hooked up to her laptop so she could work. The icing on the cake was a gorgeous pink leather executive chair. I loved the way she smiled and gasped with each new item.

“You bought me more clothes than I could ever wear in a lifetime,” she marveled. “And the furniture and the whole room is just… I walked into a fairytale.”

“Do you like it?”

“Yes, I love everything! But please don’t feel like you have to spoil me anymore.”

I tapped my pointer finger off her nose. “I wanted to give you a place to be yourself.”

She wrapped her arms around me, hugging me. “May I spend some time in my Little space? I love the pretty dresses and hair-bows. If you’re not too busy.” Tiana fretted her lip.

She didn’t need me to spend time in her younger headspace but I think she was asking for me to watch over her. I swallowed hard, thinking about the meetings I had planned for the rest of the afternoon.

“Yes, sunshine. I’ll shuffle my schedule around. Go try on your new things.” Kissing her gently, I ran my thumb across her bottom lip. I wanted to suck on it, but if she wanted to spend time in her Little space, it wasn’t the time.
