Alarm shoots through me.“No.She needs that.She loves that stuff.Unless…did she say she wanted to quit?”
“No.We haven’t talked to her yet.We wanted to talk to you first,” Trent says.
“She’s part of the band too.She can stay.”

I shrug.“Yeah, I’ll be fine.”I won’t.I won’t be fine at all, but I also can’t actively do anything that would cause her pain.
