I can’t believe these men are giving up the ability to fuck any woman they want to be my men. I’m not just someone’s ol’ lady; I belong to two of the best men I know. Men I know will do everything in their power to protect me. Eventually we’ll find love together and build a life no one can ever take from us. Hopefully I’ll be able to help Zeus work through the ghosts which still haunt him from his past. I’ll do whatever is necessary to give him the peace to live a happy life filled with memories born out of love, laughter, and pure happiness. That’s what I want to give both of these men.

“Mornin’ Jae Bird,” Zeus’ voice breaks me out of my thoughts. “Can I join you?”

“Of course,” I tell him, moving over in the shower to give him room.

“How are you feelin’ this mornin’?” he asks, pulling my body up tight against his.

“I’m sore in places I didn’t know would ache. But, I wouldn’t change anything that happened last night. How are you feeling?” I return, needing to know he’s okay.

“I’m okay sweetheart. I know we threw a lot at you. Especially me. We are both completely serious about you bein’ ours though. There’s no goin’ back after you gave yourself to us. Somethin’ we’ll never take for granted or use for any malicious reason,” he promises me as I wrap my arms around his neck and press my head against his chest.

“I know you won’t. You’re both great men and I’m honored to call you mine. I just need you to promise me something.”

“What’s that?”

“If either one of you change your mind, you need to be honest with me about it. We can make this in name only if that’s what you want. I won’t ever stand in the way of you being happy. If it’s not with me, please don’t stay with me out of some sense of obligation,” I tell him, tears filling my eyes at the thought of either man being unhappy with me.

“Jae Bird,” Zeus says, lifting my head from his chest until I’m looking him in the eyes. “There isn’t anythin’ you could do to make us unhappy. Unless it’s not bein’ honest with us about somethin’ you want. Or don’t want. Just be yourself and you’ll make us as happy as we can be.”

“Then, I think there’s something I need to say,” I begin, not sure what he’s going to think about my next words. “I don’t want to keep going to school after I finish this semester. My dream is to open up a catering business with a shop that focuses on making sweets. You know, candy, donuts, cakes, cupcakes. It wouldn’t be a bakery or anything like that. I’d focus my items on the Holidays coming up and cater events in town and the surrounding area.”

“Yeah. I was there when you told Lash about it. If that’s what you want to do, then don’t finish school. No one is makin’ you take classes if that’s not what you wanna do, Jae Bird.”

“I don’t want to disappoint my sister.”

“You couldn’t. There isn’t anythin’ you could do to disappoint her. She loves you with her hole heart and just wants you to be happy. You need to be honest with her and let her know what you want to do. Just think about it and talk to her after next weekend when you cater the cookout for the club. Show her how serious you are about this,” he tells me, running his hands up and down my back.

“Okay. What are you doing today?” I ask him as he turns my body around and begins washing my hair.

“I’m goin’ to be spendin’ all day in my room lookin’ deeper into the guy who was with your mom. Sab has to go to Jaded Outlaw and get some work done. You gotta work today, right?”

“Yeah. Who’s going with me?”

“One of the Prospects. More than likely it will be Austin.”

“I think he has a shift there today anyway. He’s filling in for someone. Zeus, I don’t want Hartley to know about our mom showing up here. She doesn’t need the added stress of worrying about her and what’s going on. I can’t stop Lash from telling her, but it’s not going to come from me.”

“I get it. I won’t tell her either. Make sure you mention it to Sabotage too. Though, I don’t get why you don’t want her to know. Is there any other reason than just not wantin’ her to be stressed?”

“No. I just don’t want her stressed out because of this. She’ll worry more than she has to and it’s not good for her right now.”

We quickly finish our shower and I’m heading back in the bedroom as Zeus goes to make coffee for us to find Sabotage waking up. I climb in bed with him and curl into his side as he wraps his arms around me.

“Mornin’ baby girl. Are you okay?” he asks, his voice laced with sleep making him sound sexy as hell.

“I’m sore. The shower helped a little bit.”

“I’m sorry. Where’s Zeus?”

“Making us coffee. I have to get ready for work and he said you’re heading into the strip club.”

“Yeah. I gotta work on paperwork and there’s been an issue between a few of the girls. Gotta nip that shit in the bud before it gets out of hand. The worst part of the job,” he tells me as I push up from him to get dressed.

The three of us get ready for the day ahead of us as we drink our coffee. As my guys get ready to head out to their bikes, there’s a knock on the door. Sabotage lets Austin in the house and fills him in on what he expects from him. Essentially he’s my babysitter while I’m at work and is not to leave my side for any reason. Well, unless someone else shows up to take his place because a member needs him for another reason. I feel bad for him. When Sabotage gets in Enforcer mode, he can be intimidating as hell. It’s one of the rare times I’ve seen him like this. Honestly, it turns me on to see him doling out orders and making sure Austin knows I’m to be his main focus of the day.

Finally, it’s time for us all to head out. After giving both men a kiss not appropriate to share in front of someone else, I head out to the SUV waiting just in front of the row house. Sabotage and Zeus make their way to the front of the clubhouse where they left their bikes and I wave goodbye as Austin drives us out of the compound. Our ride is silent as he focuses on the road ahead of him. No music plays in the background as I focus out of the window in front of me.

The ringing of Austin’s phone is the only thing that breaks the silence as he pulls into the parking lot of the diner. I try not to pay attention to his conversation because it’s none of my business. Especially if it’s a member of the club or something to do with his personal life.
