With a loud, happy laugh, Emma pulled away, beaming. “I bet. You took it like a champ, though. Now,” running her hands down Kit’s arms, she grabbed her hands and squeezed. “You better listen to my men and call me whenever. And don’t forget to have your admin set up a meeting to talk about those investments.”

Without giving Kit a chance to agree or argue, she turned to Austin and drilled a finger into his chest. “And you, mister. You better treat my friend right, or you’ll have me to answer to. And I have the means to make your life miserable, if I want to.”

“Emma!” Jaxson’s censure was somewhat ruined by the twitching of his lips.

“Sorry, sir.” She didn’t look remotely sorry, which made Kit giggle, earning her a mock-glare from her own sexy, dominant man.

“Your ass obviously doesn’t hurt enough,” Austin growled, pulling her into him. “Don’t forget I still owe you for being late tonight, kitten.”

“Yes, sir,” she said, grinning up at him.

“Well.” Jaxson clapped a hand on each of his spouses’ necks, their eyes widening with excitement. “I’d like to get to the scene I have planned for my own naughty little subs. Apparently, I’ve been neglecting them. Austin, Kit. It was wonderful meeting you both.”

As he led his stammering submissives away, Austin held out Kit’s coat and helped her into it. “Ready to go home, kitten?”

“Hell, yes, sir.”

Slipping her arm through his, she followed him out through the back entrance to the psychic shop. She didn’t care that her hair was a disaster, her makeup ruined. Or that the summer breeze was playing with the hem of her coat, flashing bits of skin with each gust. Because nothing could strip her of who and what she was.

WORTHY.
