Justin opens the door, waiting for me to walk in first. Whatever Annie was getting at, I’ll figure out later.
I enter and turn to Justin. “What’s up?”
“We have an offer on Haverhill.”
I clap him on the back. “Finally, some good fucking news.”
Twenty minutes later, I’m tucked in a corner, getting the details of the offer from the other realtor. I’ve forgotten all the bullshit Annie said until she-devil walks in wearing an outfit worthy of a salute from my dick.
Maybe Annie has a point.
