“Well, I hope Hunter and Hawk find some kind of trail because I want to introduce this fucker to some of his own medicine,” Frost mutters, a gleam in his eye.

“He has for some reason targeted us; we need to make sure that we keep our affairs in order because we might just get the cops here trying to get evidence. Also, the women need to stay safe at all times because this escapade of theirs today will not work,” King says just as Hunter and Hawk walk in.

“Did you find anything?” Blue asks.

“There was a trail up to the highway, but then we lost it,” Hunter says.

“We could check the cameras leading onto the highway from where you lost him and see if we can find a number plate,” I suggest.

“I’ll get on it after the meeting,” Gunner says.

“I did find your stalker,” Hunter says as he looks at me.

“Fuck, about time,” I mutter, relieved that we finally have a lead, “where?” I ask as I am more than ready to go and face this fucker.

“He’s staying in Sugar Plumb bed-and-breakfast; I was itching to take a bite out of him, but I know you wouldn’t appreciate it,” Hunter says with a shrug.

“Thanks brother, I owe you one.” There is a knock on the door, which has me looking over my shoulder.

“Enter,” the door opens to show the prospects, “come in and close the door,” King says, which has the five men entering.

“We found a body of a woman today, which leads us to believe that it was the same guy that has been killing women in town.” The prospects grumble in anger at King's statement. “I want to know if any of you have seen anything strange in the last couple of days while out on patrol?” the prospects look at each other, some shake their heads.

“I saw a guy walking the woods a couple of days ago, but when he got a glimpse of my wolf he started running and left,” Cobult says, Cobult has been with us for a while and at his age he would normally have transitioned into being one of us instead of a prospect but Cobult has anger issues.

“Did you get a good look at him?” Fang asks.

“He had a hoodie on which covered his head, but he was big around six foot and he was fast, which leads me to believe that he’s young,” he says as he lifts his hand to scratch at his jaw.

“Did he have a motorcycle or a car waiting for him?” I ask, as that might tell us if it was the killer staking out his next dumping site.

“I didn’t follow him all the way out, but I think so as I heard an engine,” he says, “It was a car or van by the sound of the engine.”

“If anyone sees anyone in our property, you detain them no matter how,” King orders. “I want everyone on alert, you know what happened with the Hades that came for an unexpected visit?” At their nods King continues, “We don’t like uninvited guests, understood?”

“I don’t know if you have heard, but Dash has found his mate,” King states, which surprises me.

The men all comment and tease before King lifts his hand, “the reason I am saying this is that we now have four women in the club, we will make sure that they are protected at all times.”

“And a baby,” Gray one of our other prospects says with a grin which has everyone grow deathly silent as we all turn our gaze on him which has him tensing.

“What the fuck are you talking about?” Dixon asks with a raised brow.

“Well, when I took the trash out last week, a pregnancy test fell out of the bag, it was positive.” He shrugs as he looks at King with a worried look, “I didn’t know it was supposed to be a secret.”

“Apparently it is,” King says as he looks at Hunter and Hawk, “anything you have to tell us?” he asks.

“Fuck, I don’t know anything,” Hunter says with a scowl.

“She seems fine, I’m sure she would tell me,” Hawk mumbles as he rubs at his face.

“Well, it seems like one of you might be a father soon,” Goliath says as he slaps Hunter jokingly on the back, but Hunter is too revved up to accept the joke as he turns his head towards Goliath with a glare.

“What?” Goliath asks as he throws up his hands in surprise, “I thought you would be pleased.”

“Pleased that she might be hiding the fact that she’s pregnant?” Hunter asks sarcastically.

“Maybe she just hasn’t found the right time to tell you,” I say and then turn to Hawk, “or you.”
