“No man, that’s just wrong.” Burkhart says as he shakes his head, “at least let him get dressed first.” He mutters, which has King’s head snap back to look at him and then he shakes his head and grunts as he steps back.

“This is our way,” King states, “have you got a problem with it?”

“No, he doesn’t,” Draco states as he shoots Burkhart a warning look. “Now in regard to the other matter with the weapons, have you decided on what you are going to do?”

“Yeah, after our talk yesterday I will get my men to pick up your business, until you are ready to take it back.” King states, after the Elementals left us for a couple of hours yesterday King met with everyone about this opportunity. After deliberating about the opportunity and having us check up on what they told us, we decided to help them out while they needed us, as they are helping us now.

The Elementals are a good strong MC to be allied to, they have various charters that can come in handy. Draco nods in thanks at his words.

“Well, it’s time to leave, we will let you know once we have something for you.” Draco says as he turns to make his way towards the road where I’m guessing they have their Harleys parked.

“Well Fang,” King starts to say, “how’s your head?”

“Fucked,” I grunt, “my mate just told me that I’m going to be a father and I don’t even know if I can keep her and my child safe.” My reply has King shaking his head, a scowl back on his face.

“I have never known you to be someone to give up before,” he snaps as he places his hands on his waist. “You are the enforcer for this club, and if it wasn’t for you, we would have been caught out more than once. You have the spirit of a warrior, and when something is important to you, you don’t ever give up.”

I grunt at his words, but they give me strength. “You have kept all of us safe, by placing yourself in danger yourself, more than once. The men respect you, not because of your position, but because you have shown them that you are worthy of that title.” King says as he turns to leave, “therefore, I have no doubt that you will continue to do what you have always done best, and that your woman and child will be safe. Besides, they will also have me, so there is no danger.”

I want to thank King for his support, but I know that isn’t his way. He always knows how to uplift his men, how to drive them on. I know that being part of an MC is not the safest for a child, but these men are my family, and I know that if anything ever happened to me that they would do everything in their power to keep my mate and child safe.

I make my way towards where I left my clothes, slipping them back on I sigh as I look around at the trees that surround me. It is so peaceful in this glade, to think that in a years’ time I will be showing this to my child. My heart fills with such longing, such love for this being that isn’t yet in the world. Tonight, I have my mating ceremony.

Usually, a mating ceremony is done as soon as we mate, but because of everything that has been going on, we have delayed it. King has been on my case about getting it done, and tonight, it is the perfect time because it’s a full moon.

My woman is now mine no matter what, but the ceremony is our tradition, and it knits our bond tighter together. Myst is excited for tonight. Looking around I nod, the ceremony will be held here, where all the men will be present to see the commitment that I have towards my mate.

Throwing back my head I howl, the prospects will know the call. It’s time to bring order to their group, time to set them straight again. I have been too busy with trying to find Skull and worrying about the serial killer, but knowing that one of them could possibly be the traitor has my protective instinct on the warpath.

Cobult and Flint are the first to appear through the trees, they are both wearing their kutte which means that they were on patrol. Sabre is the next to approach, still slipping on his t-shirt. Finally, Apollo and Grey are the last to join us.

They all stand before me in a line, all of them very different in their own ways. Like all of us at the MC they too have gone through hell before finding their way here. I know that sometimes I would gladly kick their ass for their stubbornness, but then I think back to myself when I first met King.

I was on a mission to prove myself, and that had me picking fights when there was no reason to fight. I see a lot of myself in Cobult, he has anger issues, but he has a good heart. I know that Cobult, with his background, would never hurt a woman.

Looking towards Sabre I grunt, sometimes I’m too hard on him, but I know that he has the potential to be great. I brought Sabre into the club; therefore, I want to make sure that he doesn’t let me down.

Apollo, Grey and Flint are lazy and don’t go the extra mile, I need to light a fire under them to make sure that they don’t forget what they are. The Wolverine MC aren’t just a motorcycle club, we are a family. We live and die for each other, and if one of us isn’t prepared to do that, then we don’t want them in our club.

“I don’t think you guys have enough to do, I see that when we give you an order you ignore it and go and do your own thing.” There are a few grunts at my words and a scowl or two.

“Cobult, you and Sabre are going on a run with the others.” I see both men nod, they all like going on the bike runs, but they need to understand that being part of the MC also has its sacrifices.

“You” I say pointing towards Flint, “are going to do the night shift this week,”

“The whole week?” he asks with a raised brow.

None of them like to Patrol during the night as there isn’t much happening, usually we have two men at the same time patrolling, but since Flint’s stunt in leaving his post and placing Sam in danger that he will be punished by patrolling the whole week.

“Yes” at my reply he grunts in annoyance. “Is there a problem with that?” I am itching to lay into him, my anger with his irresponsibility is still sitting wrong with me.

“No,” he grunts in annoyance.

“Grey, you and Apollo will alternate in patrolling with Flint.” They both nod but don’t grumble like Flint did. “Now that we have sorted that out, let’s see what you have learnt the last couple of months.” Frost and Dixon have been training with them as I was out trying to find Skull, now that I am back their training will be put to the test. Raising my hand, I call Grey and Apollo to attack me.

They both step forward, Grey starts to circle around while Apollo comes straight for me. He pulls back his arm to punch me but before he can carry out his attack, I have kicked out my leg and kneed him on the midriff which has him bending forward breathlessly.

Grey comes at me when he thinks I’m distracted, but I foresee his attack and am ready. The fight continues, I call the others and gage how much they have improved in the last couple of months, because if they want to progress from being a prospect, they will have to be able to defend themselves and others around them. We need to trust them with our lives, and at the moment I for one don’t.
