“Why did you hit me?”

“Cyborg CPR?”

I let out a rumble of laughter, rolling us so she was pinned under my frame, my softening cock still buried deep inside her. “As a scientist, you knew that wasn’t going to work.”

Her green eyes narrowed. “I panicked. If there is a next time, I will remember to bring jumper cables.”

I captured her lips. “Oh, there will be a next time.” I found the shell of her ear. “You enjoyed taking my cock far too much to deny yourself.”

She sucked in a breath. “Hell, I never expected you to be so dirty. And I never thought I would like it.”

“You inspire me, Nara. To be bold. To give my good girl whatever she needs.”

“I should not love that as much as I do.”

“But you do. And so do I. I like that you surrender some of your control. That you trust me enough to let me give you what you need.” I leaned down, nuzzling my nose along her cheek. “You were incredible.”

I slipped from her body, twisting my frame once again to my back so I could cuddle her to me.

“Did it work?” she whispered.

“You tell me, my Nara.” I felt the hum of the new code in my core programming. It had settled itself to my processors, and the moment I had come back online, I knew Nara was forever a part of me.

Her heart took a beat and mine matched it, perfectly in sync. “Yes. Before, you were a whisper, a shadow in the back of my mind. But now, it’s like you stepped into the light and I feel you everywhere.” She lifted her head from my chest, her eyes shiny and wet. “You’re really mine?”

“Until my processors cease to function and the light has dimmed from my eyes.”

“I love you, Brone. Thank you for never giving up on me.”

I held her tighter to my frame, breathing the scent of us, branding this moment to my processors. “Never, my Nara. I was made to be yours.”

EPILOGUE ONE

Nara

My eyes scanned the room, taking in the sight of my cyborgs-all nine of them. The group I had helped to rescue were being pulled along by my Luxury Models. Core, Caliber and Chaos chatted happily while the new ones, for the most part, remained quiet.

The exception to this was the male Service Model. He matched the Luxury Model’s enthusiasm, fitting himself with my trio like he had been grown in the vat with them. He had wedged his frame in-between Core and Caliber, a look of contentment on his face.

The Service Model had been touch starved, and my three cyborgs were happy to give him what he needed. Affection was far easier to them than the older models. This Service Model would never lack for hugs again, not with my three around.

I smiled, joy filling my chest. I might have created them, but they showed me every day how to be a better person. They had given me the reason to put my trust in the cyborg rebellion, never knowing it would lead me to where I was meant to be along.

And that was to the Tank Class that would tear down my walls so he could capture my heart. I had spent the past few weeks smiling more than I ever thought possible.

And it wasn’t only my world he had changed.

His and Reaper’s message had brought the cyborg rebellion into the light. There was still a long way to go. The fight was far from over but for now, all of us were safe. The cyborgs and the humans who loved them had been given the land Lennox’s compound had been built on, along with the guarantee for more land if needed.

We were under the government’s protection. The Global Allegiance had fallen, and hopefully one day, cyborgs would walk side by side with humans instead of being treated like they were less than. The dream might take more time, but at least now it was within reach.

My eyes caught on Ion as he spotted me through the crowd. He grinned and I waved. I had been relieved to find out he had suffered no permanent damage after the attack on the cabin.

Ion walked over to me and I tossed my arms around his neck, hugging him tight. “Thank you for being my friend when I desperately needed one. You cared even when I was thought of as the enemy.” I pulled back to find Ion’s cheeks flushed a dark gray.

“You’re welcome, Nara. I am glad I was there to help.”

“Pretty sure you drew the short straw.”
