“You assume correctly, but go back to what you were doing. I want you nice and seasoned when we arrive at the club.”

“Seasoned?” she repeated. “You want me seasoned?”

“Like a juicy steak ready to devour,” he remarked, but keeping his eyes on the road.

“I can’t believe you just said that,” she muttered, more to herself than to him, then closed her eyes and leaned back her head.

In spite of her mumbled protest she’d found the comment titillating, and quickly returning her fingers to her sex, she didn’t think back to her salacious night at the club, she imagined what was to come…

* * *

The drive had been rough.

Branches ripped from trees littered the road. The SUV’s sophisticated cameras didn’t just tell him what was on either side of his vehicle, but what was beneath it as well, and he’d driven over more than he cared to. At one point he’d almost turned around, but there was too much at stake. It was possible Steph had very little information, and he hoped that was the case, but he had to find out.

As he neared the bottom of the winding mountain road, the wind began to ease, and the rain, while still heavy, was no longer bucketing down. But a short distance ahead was a main road that would take him to the freeway, and he didn’t want Steph seeing any signs.

“Put this on,” he ordered, retrieving the sleeping mask from his pocket, “and keep it on until I tell you to take it off.”

Taking it from his hands, she let out a dramatic sigh. “I suppose I have to wear this because you don’t want me to see where we are.”

“Steph! Stop constantly second-guessing me.”

“I was just—”

“I told you to keep your eyes closed. You opened them because you were scared, and that’s understandable, but you didn’t close them again. Now put the mask on.”

“Sorry,” she muttered, quickly slipping it over her head. “I didn’t mean to make you mad.”

“You have to question everything,” he scolded as he slowed down and turned onto the main road. “I’m going to punish you for that when we reach the club. Just sit there and follow my instructions.”

“Uh… instructions?”

“Place your fingers back between your legs. I didn’t tell you to stop, you just chose to.”

“Oh, right, yes, Sir.”

She was a willful, stubborn young woman, the type to see how far she could push the envelope, and his instinct told him that’s exactly what she was doing. Perhaps he’d become too conciliatory at the lodge.

“Steph, to quote the marines, don’t mistake kindness for weakness.”

She caught her breath.

“Uh-huh,” he muttered. “Just as I thought. Don’t do that again. Clear?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“I don’t see your fingers moving.”

“Sorry, Sir.”

Her voice had been a whisper, and as she began to rub her clit, he broke into a grin. Not only was he glad to be safely off the perilous, stormy mountain, he was confident the night would be a success. As he drove onto the freeway, he let out a breath and loosened his grip on the steering wheel. The traffic was mercifully light. The trip to the city would be a quick one.

“Move your hand away,” he ordered gruffly, reaching across the console.

Keeping his eyes on the road, he pushed his fingers into her slick sex, eliciting a soft groan.

“You’re already wet, but not wet enough.”
