“That makes sense.” Serene looked at the floor. “I'm not sure how they reached me or how they knew where to find me. They're much more powerful than I could ever hope to be.”

“What did they say?” Niall asked, with far more patience than I expected from him.

“They say . . . they said they're being held by the Council.”

Niall jumped to his feet. “We have to go.”

I released one of Serene’s hands to grab his arm. “Niall, please calm down.”

He let out a huge breath, then dropped back down. “What else did they say?”

She looked from him to me, then back. “They aren't sure exactly where they are. Just that it's dark and damp and the walls are made of rocks.”

The room was closing in on me. Squeezing the air out of my lungs. This couldn’t be a coincidence.

“They’re at the castle,” I said, somehow knowing it was true. “They’re with Hannah, Daniel, and Natasha. They’re where Theo will be hurt.”

“I’m not going to Alaska,” Niall announced. “I have to go to my brothers. There's a reason they reached out to you. They need us. They need our help.”

Serene didn't argue with him. “I'm sorry. I don't have more information. That was all they could communicate before the connection disappeared.”

“It’s more than any of us have been able to figure out. Thank you so much.” Niall shocked me by bending over and giving her a hug.

Then he ran into the bathroom. I looked at the rest of the guys. “We have to go with him.”

Kaden and Theo exchanged a look.

“This doesn't change anything.” Kaden folded his arms over his chest. “Just because we finally know where they are doesn't change the fact we’re not capable of taking on the Council. The only thing we're doing is making it harder for those who can go against them.”

“We’re just adding on to people that need to be rescued.” Theo added.

“I can't just sit here and do nothing,” I said.

“We're going to go to Alaska,” Theo said with determination. “We're going where we will be safe. We're going to give this information to the Alpha and hope it will encourage more of the witch allies to join their force.”

“I’ll go,” Sai told me. “I'll go with you and Niall.”

“We can't split up,” Kaden said as he jumped to his feet. “That's not an option. You know how much more powerful we are together.”

“Then you need to come with us,” I said, unwilling to stand down.

“We can't take on the Council,” he argued.

“I can't go to Alaska,” I shot back.

He and Theo would need another one of those tranquilizers. The only way they would get me to go in the opposite direction of the Council was if I was unconscious, and they wouldn't dare.

Our door cracked open, and we all turn to see Blazer step in, quietly shut the door behind him, and rush forward. “I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but it's hard to ignore you guys when you're screaming at each other.”

“What is it?” Kaden asked, not bothering to hide his annoyance.

Blazer turned to me. “I can get you to Ireland.”

I paused at his random offer. “Okay?”

“I'm not sure if that's where the Council's castle is, but I've received confirmation that's where a resistance community is gathering. I can get you there so you can at least meet up with the right people. People who are willing and able to help you.”

Even though his eyes didn’t stray from mine, his words seemed aimed at Kaden and Theo.
