I shook my head. “Only for winners.”

A gasp came from behind us, and I turned. Two women stared on in shock. I was about to ask them what was wrong when Niall took my hand and led us away.

“Let's go look over here.”

We met up with Theo and Sai at a basketball shooting game in the middle of a round, elbowing each other out of the way to reach for the basketballs as they roll down the plastic sheet toward them.

“That one was mine,” Sai cried, shoving his hip into Theo and knocking him off balance just as he took another shot.

“Watch it!”

We watched their antics, laughing, until time ran out and then turned around to notice our audience.

“Does he get a kiss too?” Kaden grumbled.

Theo looked between us. “What's that mean?”

“Yep! Winners get kisses!” I took two steps toward Theo, threw my arms around his neck and kissed him in one of the largest displays of affection I've ever done in public. He stiffened in surprise for a moment before wrapping his arms around my back and dipping me. I laughed against his lips. He smiled and righted me, holding me until I regained my balance.

Kaden rolled his eyes, and Sai frowned. “Why don't I get a kiss like that?”

“Because you didn't win,” I taunted and went to the next stand with a balloon wall, looking around at the other players to see what they're using to throw out the balloons.

Darts!

The guy managing the stall came toward me. “Would you like to play?”

I nodded. “How much?”

He handed me five darts and gave me a confused look. “If you need more, I can give you them. We just like to start with five.”

“I don’t have to pay?” I cocked my head, and he looked at the guys behind me as if he wanted them to explain to me what was going on.

“No, miss, everything here is free.”

“This whole carnival is free?” I couldn't believe it.

“This is the Alpha’s birthday.” The man was so confused. “He took care of everything.”

“Oh, right.” I nodded and accepted the darts from him. I wasn't used to the lifestyles of the wealthy.

It only took me three tries to pop a balloon, and the man pointed to the rows of stuffed animal prizes.

I pointed out a smiling tiger. “That one.”

“Good choice,” Sai said.

“Yeah, whatever,” Kaden rolled his eyes. “There are no hawks up there.”

I debated for about two seconds before bounding over to Sai. He smiled as he figured out what was happening, and we kissed as he scooped me up and spun me twice before setting me down.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Kaden grumbled. “He didn't even win anything.”

“I won a tiger, and he's my tiger,” I explained, as if my logic made any sense.

I expected more whispers or disdainful looks at my obvious affection toward the guys, but no one seemed to mind over here. Maybe it was just those two women.

“Good evening, everyone.” Gloria’s voice sounded from the speakers.
