“And ‘stuff’? We’re grown men, Ryan, we don’t do ‘stuff’.”
Exasperated, Ryan scrubbed both hands over his face. Why should he even tell Ravi any of this? The other man didn’t share details of his sex life with Ryan, why should he do the same?
Because you fucked up and don’t know how to fix it,he answered himself.
“We were asleep.”
Ravi’s brows lifted.
This was so fucking embarrassing.
“I woke up and she was on top of me. Kissing me.” He closed his eyes, immediately regretting the action. Visions of Cassie hovering above him, her long hair trailing down her back like a dark waterfall and her head thrown back, exposing her neck for his mouth, filled his mind. He forced his eyes open.
“Cassie was on top of you? She initiated it?”
Ryan nodded. “I was half-asleep. I thought she was all in. I kissed her back. I…” Although he could feel Ravi’s gaze on him, he didn’t look at the other man. “I didn’t realize she wasn’t completely awake until we were finished.”
“Finished?” Ryan could barely hear his friend’s question.
“Yeah. We both…” He made a gesture with his hand meant to explain they’d both been satisfied.
Apparently, Ravi wasn’t adept at hand signals. “You both what?”
“Damn it, Ravi. We finished. What the fuck do you think that means?”
“Oh.” A slight blush appeared beneath his dark skin. “So you did have sex?” Confused, he squinted.
Would this never end? “No. We just… rubbed.”
Ravi’s eyes damn near bugged out of his head. Like he’d never heard Ryan talk about sex before. What the hell was his problem?
“So, you’re telling me you and Cassie had dry sex? To completion? While you were half asleep?”
Scowling, Ryan nodded.
“So why are you in such a piss-poor mood?”
The question held validity. Yesterday, Ryan would’ve assumed he’d be the happiest guy he knew if he woke up with Cassie riding him. But yesterday, he hadn’t known how she’d react to having him almost fuck her in her sleep. Hell, he’d even ripped her dress.
“I thought she was awake. Turns out —”
“Wait. She never woke up?”
“Eventually. While she was coming. I think.”
Ravi winced. “What happened then?”
Ryan explained how Cassie jumped off him, falling in the process. Ravi’s eyes narrowed and his brows came together, causing his forehead to wrinkle.
“I think she… She looked like she was crying,” Ryan finished.
“What the fuck, man?”
Ryan lifted his hands, then let them fall helplessly. “I apologized. I told her not to worry about it, that it wasn’t a big deal.”
Ravi cringed. “This is Cassie and sex. How’s it not a big deal?”
“Iknowit’s a big deal.”A big deal mistake. He recoiled as he remembered what Levi had said about them sleeping together and conceiving Ellie.
