I groan again, making my way quickly to my room which isn’t far from the kitchen.

Leaning against the door as I close it behind me, I free myself from my shorts, pumping my swollen length with only one person on my mind.

As much as I want to, relieving myself right now isn’t going to change how I feel.

And it’s hardly the time or place.

But with my balls rising up already, all the pent-up pressure I feel for Jen, longing to plant my seed inside her, it’s as hard to stop myself as it is to stop breathing.

I can hear Abby’s voice from the kitchen, but Jen’s quiet. The sounds from the kitchen make me stop thinking about my need long enough to realize that giving myself a happy finish right now isn’t really going to help.

If anything, I know I’d only feel like I’d wasted something.

This special thing I have for her isn’t going to put a smile on her face if I spray paint my room with it now, is it?

I’m usually pretty calm in a crisis, but my heart’s thumping against my ribs so hard, and my entire body feels tense as I reluctantly loosen my grip, sliding my shorts back over myself.

“Soon, little buddy…Soon,” I promise my aching cock in a low, hoarse whisper.

Swallowing hard as I shut my eyes tight, trying to see anything except Jen when I do. Praying that she feels the same way I do, or else I’ll just go insane. I know I will.

Abby’s voice and then her rapping on my door snap me back to reality.

“Dad? You in there?” she asks. And keeping myself and the tent pole in my shorts behind the edge of the door, I open it just enough to show my face.

“Hi, sweetie,” I stammer, noticing her concerned look.

“You okay, Dad? I mean…you look like you just ran a marathon,” she observes.

“I’m fine. Just the heat, I guess…,” I offer in explanation, even though it must be sixty degrees in here right now.

Abby studies my expression before shrugging it off. “I need you to lift the pool cover off,” she tells me, forcing a cheesy smile at the end, which I return.

“Girls only, huh?” I tease her. “Until there’s some heavy lifting involved,” I say, chuckling to myself.

“You’re the only one strong enough to do it,” Abby reminds me, and I give her a smug look.

“You’re welcome.” I remind her, pecking her cheek and feeling human again once my urge for her best friend subsides.

“I’ll be out in a minute,” I promise her. “But Abby, I wished you had run this whole New York thing by me,” I add in a more serious tone. “It’s a big deal, and I’m not sure I like the idea of you in the city all on your own,” I admit.

Knowing it could never change her mind, but at least having to get that part of today off my chest to her.

“I know, Dad,” Abby says soothingly, moving to rest her hand on my arm as it hugs the door.

“It might not happen anyway. I just wanted to let you know… I thought you’d be excited for me,” she adds, pouting again, knowing just where to punch her old man to make her point.

“I am proud of you, honey. Just some notice would’ve been nice,” I murmur.

“About Jen staying?” she asks me back.

“I mean about New York…about taking off at a moment’s notice,” I remind her.

“And you retiring was just a spur-of-the-moment thing?” she asks, calling my hand and raising the stakes.

“That’s different,” I sigh. “And Jen’s welcome here anytime, you know that.”

“Then why are you acting so…weird?” Abby asks in a near whisper, glancing over her shoulder.
