With an eye roll, I show Rae the text.

“Classy to the very end,” she says before giving me a sweet kiss. “I’ll grab the girls and we’ll meet you out front.”

“Wait,” I say, tugging on her hand. I grab the corsage off the roof of her car, open the container, and slide it on her wrist. It has white flowers with peach and silver ribbons that perfectly match her dress and my boutonniere.

She looks at me with her swooning eyes, then gives me one more kiss and walks inside.

Making my way down the driveway, I find everyone out front.

“Where’s Rae?” Joel complains.

“She went to get the girls. Calm down.”

He stares at the front door, but a moment later, we hear laughter from the driveway. Then Mackie, Sarah, and Rae appear, all looking stunning as hell.

The guys are all slack-jawed, and I’m taking in every inch of my girl. Miles whistles. And Joel rolls his eyes at himself.

“Okay, maybe it was worth the wait.”

“You ladies,” Miles says, walking over and planting a kiss on each of their cheeks, “look fucking incredible.”

“Miles!” his mother chastises.

“Sorry, Ma!” he says, then smirks.

“Okay, I get why your tongue was down her throat,” Joel says.

I slap him on the shoulder, grinning. “Admit it, you wish yours was down Sarah’s.”

He glances at me for a second, but doesn’t say anything, instead going over and greeting Sarah with a kiss to the cheek.

Then, as Joel predicted, we take a billion pictures until the limo arrives.

We say goodbye to our parents and climb into the Hummer limo. I sit sideways on one of the seats and pull Rae into my lap, so she’s half on my thighs and half between them.

Try not to get a boner.

As if reading my mind, Joel looks at us and says, “Hey, remember, there’s no divider between you and the rest of us, so keep it PG-13 or less, okay?”

“No promises,” I say, kissing her neck. Her chest heaves and I know she almost moaned. ButPG-13.We’ll see how long that lasts.

As if trying to get me back, she slides her butt back, pressing into me.

Damn it. So much for no boner. At least she’s on my lap, so no one can see it.

“All right,” Joel says, reaching into the mini fridge and grabbing out a bottle of champagne, “Let’s have some fun.”

“Joel, how did you get that in here?” Sarah asks.

He and Trevor share a grin.

“You know Chuck Andrews from the baseball team? Graduated last year? His stepdad runs the limo company, so Chuck got his brother to buy the champagne and Chuck stuck it in the limos of everyone from school who rented one,” Trevor explains.

“Well then,” Miles says as he finishes pouring some for everyone, “Here’s to Chuck.”

We all raise our glasses and drink.

Rae
