I had an in. Liam Macklen had given me his personal contact details. For the good of the company, probably. But still, a nagging voice in the back of my mind laughed in the glory of my victory. Leaving the entry of the Leden building, I took a moment to input the digits of Liam’s cell phone into my phone. I thought about sending him a msesage, thanking him for making this easy. But decided that would be too much.
I wanted him to work with me. And truthfully, as I settled back into my sedan, there was more than one reason I wanted to see Liam Macklen again.
