“Liam…” My voice wavered. It’d been so long since I’d felt like this about anybody. If I’d ever felt anything like this about anybody. “I don’t want to go home.”

Liam’s face was blank.

Oh, now it was awkward. I took a long breath, raising my arms to cover my face and hide from my embarrassment. Before I made it a move, he was against me, all heat and strength and lips. Those magical hands of his were deep in my hair, dragging my head back so that he could kiss me.

And kiss me he did, like it was the last thing he might be able to do. Then one of his hands dropped lower, hefting me up by the small of my back until I was barely on my toes against him as he slipped that velvet-soft tongue into my mouth. Moving it in a way that made everything go dark and hungry inside me.

I ground up against him, unapologetically needy. “Liam,” I whimpered—yes, whimpered—against his lips. My chest heaved as he trailed his mouth across my jaw to my ear, where his tongue ran across the tips of my ears, hot and nimble. “Liam, we are in a lobby.”

“My lobby,” he threw back, his voice a heated breath against my skin.

I giggled, his body rolling against me as we tumbled into the hallway to his private entrance.

“That’s not the point.”

He pulled away slowly, his face relaxed, that easy smile tugging at his lips. “Not an exhibitionist. Noted.”

“I’m in public relations. I feel like that should be obvious.”

Liam huffed a short breath, ducking his shoulder and expertly heaving me over it. I squealed, instinctively slapping at his trousered ass as he marched the both of us down the narrow hall. He spanked me once, but his hand lingered there, and I could tell my dress had ridden up. And that he approved of it.

“Liam,” I hissed, but laughter tangled my scolding.

Thank God no one else lives here yet. Stabbing his fingers into the buttons, he called the elevator to us.

But then we waited. After a long minute, I wiggled against his shoulder.

“Do I need to spank you again?”

“No,” I answered too quickly. A pair of silken lips pressed against my thigh, and I let out a squeak of surprise.

“Maybe someone else is holding it up.”

He swatted me hard. “Stop poking the bear.”

I grumbled but settled, trying to ignore the way his back flexed under my hands.

“Are you ever going to put me down?” I joked, but my skin was flushed from the last time he’d carried me around.

Ding. The elevator opened with a judgmental whoosh of air. And while I knew logically there was no one else in the building, I held my breath, suddenly afraid.

Moving into the space, Liam leaned down, setting me gently on my feet. I poked the button for the top floor, my body tingling with anticipation as his hands followed every line of my body, a trail of need and desire that made my nipples pebble against my dress, begging for more attention.

“Please,’ I begged as his hands got close.

Those dark silver eyes flashed to me then to the panel behind him.

He slammed his hand into the Stop button, bringing our ride to his floor to an abrupt halt. My heart practically stopped with it. But then he was there again, a pillar of need, pushing me against the elevator. The metal walls a cool caress down my back.

His hands found my nipples through my dress, and I moaned into the silence. “No bra, Ashlyn?”

“The dress, I didn’t want to have a strap hanging out.” I barely resisted grabbing his hands and pulling them back to my body. Pressure, there was so much of it, and he was the only one who could make it go away. I arched against him.

“I’m going to buy you this dress in every color, one for every day of the week.” He squeezed tentatively before tugging at the aching tips. The answering jolt in my groin made my knees loose. Sensing my unsteady position, he slid one long, muscular thigh between mine, effectively propping me up and giving me a preview of exactly how much he wanted me.

As if I needed another reminder.

The top of my dress slipped down, and his mouth replaced his hands. My hips ground against his body as I tore at the belt that was keeping the two of us separate.
