"What the fuck does that mean?" I demand.

Blake shakes his head, giving Asher a sly look. "You look very cozy. Nice littlesiblingbond you have. I can't wait to meet our new mom."

Asher tenses, growling at him. "No one replaced mom. And you don't get to speak to Rylee like that."

Zayn shrugs, amusement written all over his face. "Whatever you say, Ash. I'm assuming daddy dearest has been notified. I can't wait for the welcome home party."

I should be back on the road, heading to my new life. Instead, I'm sitting in the living room staring at the three brothers as we wait for mom and Gareth to get back home.

Asher apparently texted Gareth, sending everything into a spin. They were on their way back from the ranch, and I have to wonder if mom knows what she is walking in to.

The ranch is a few hours away, so we've passed the time by doing absolutely nothing. For the most part, we've sat in silence in a messed up circle, eyeing each other off.

Asher and I are at opposite ends of the room. It's like he can't be near me at the moment, his walls going up. It was hard enough that we had our worlds collide and had to take Jenny into account. But now, we have a family pushing in between us.

It just reinforces the fact that I know this is wrong. It's fucked up, even. But my mind keeps replaying his head between my legs, making me shake and scream as he made me come. I'll never be able to forget this – the line and boundaries I've crossed. I'm morally fucked up, and I'm sure there's a special place in Hell for people like me.

I hear a car coming up the driveway, the gravel crushing under the tires. I look at Asher, who refuses to look at me. He's quiet, lost in his thoughts.

Zayn and Blake look right at home, leaning back into their seats, clearly enjoying the tension and the impending explosion that's about to come.

The front door creaks open, footsteps confirming our parents are back. They head straight for the living room, Gareth appearing in the doorway first.

Gareth looks calm, but there's an eerie looking expression in his eyes. He hones his gaze straight onto Zayn and Blake, and I can see the realization pass over his face when he knows Asher was telling the truth.

"Hey, dad!" Blake says cheerfully, but even without knowing them, I can tell this is a gesture to provoke poor Gareth.

"Blake, Zayn," he says, giving Asher and I a quick look.

Mom appears next to Gareth, looking at the twins. Her mouth falls open slightly, and if I'm not mistaken, her eyes are a little red and glassy like she's been crying in the car. I guess that answers my question about whether she knew or not.

I feel sorry for her. She's a victim in this too. And I can't help but feel guilty that I'm going to cause more stress by leaving.

They can't ever know about me and Asher. That would be too much. It would break them.

Zayn hops up, opening his arms. "Hug?"

Gareth hesitates before walking forward and embracing him. He pulls back, looking at the twins.

"What are you doing here?" he asks, his tone is firm with drops of harshness.

"We missed you. And look at you go, got yourself a whole new family and everything," Zayn says.

Mom steps into the room, despite her obvious nerves.

"I'm Charlotte. It's nice to meet you both."

Zayn gives her a wink as Blake rolls his eyes. "Let me guess. You're our dear sister's momma bear."

Mom looks at me. I want to bury my head into the sand. This could go south, very quickly. If the twins say anything, we're done for.

"Uh, yes. I see you've met Rylee."

I send silent pleas for mom to shut up, looking at Asher. His face is tight, his jaw tense as he clenches his teeth.

Zayn walks over, sitting down next to me. He puts an arm around me, looking at Asher. "We did. She was so kind to let us in. I can't wait to get to know her, just like Asher has."

Asher snaps his gaze to Zayn, glaring at him and his arm. I stand up, walking a few steps away.
