The rest of their meal maintained the same easy energy—with Kai steadfastly resisting every urge to poke the bear. Because while Breck was entertaining as hell when flustered, he was far more attractive when he donned that smile. Besides, Kai had gotten another glimpse of him and was beginning to understand the reasons behind his short fuse. Breck was struggling under enormous pressure, his relationship with his dad only exacerbating his stress. The one person on this planet whoshouldn’tbe making his problems worse. And with that, Kai now found himself wanting to be Breck’s haven of peace.

Once they finished, Kai briskly cleaned up, then headed to the shelving unit and lit some incense. Sandalwood. Breck watched him with an air of anticipation, as if recalling how, at the start of their last session, Kai had begun things in the exact same way.

A prelude of sorts. And he’d be right.

Kai couldn’t stop the memories from surging back into his brain. Of Breck, bound and writhing. And then his beautiful release. He’d been so sublime. A gorgeous young male in his sexual prime. Blindfolded and panting, muscles taut, with his head cranked back. If only he knew what Kai had planned for him tonight. It’d make Friday’s little tryst look like a walk in the park.

Breck could handle it, though. Kai was confident.

And yet, there was only one way to find out if he’denjoyit.

Meeting Breck’s gaze, Kai gestured toward the living room. “Time to begin.” He smiled wryly. “You ready for dessert?”

— TWO —

Dessert.

Breck’s body clenched anxiously. A whisper of indecision swept through his chest. His heart pounded.Washe ready? To be totally tied up and at Kai’s mercy again? Recollections of their last encounter flooded back into his brain. It’d been amazing. Mind blowing. Incredible. But also totally insane. And yet probably the most bold and exciting thing he’d ever done. He’d loved it. Wanted to do it again. Hence the reason he’d volunteered his services—to secure a spot for another go.

Pulse rate spiking, he cleared his throat, lips quirking as he absorbed Kai’s not-so-subtle innuendo. “Yeah. Let’s do this.”

Kai led the way into his loft’s large open area. Breck rolled his shoulders, willing his body to relax. This was nothing but a repeat of Friday. And Friday was easy. He’d just had to chill in one spot and sit still. An effort that’d definitely been worth it. He could absolutely endure a bit more of the staying put. After all, how much could one rope design really differ from another?

Kai pulled out one of the woven bins from the bottom of his shelving unit. “So, tonight’s piece,” he began. “It’s going to be different.”

Breck stilled. Not like Friday? He scratched his neck. “Different how?”

“Not a floor piece. A suspension rig.” He carried the bin over to the coffee table.

Breck frowned in confusion. “You’re going to suspend me in the air?”

“Yes.” Kai turned to him. Something flickered in his gaze. “Exhibitions are always more extravagant than instructional classes.”

Apprehension settled into Breck’s gut. It must’ve also surfaced on his face, because Kai quickly shook his head and retrieved his phone. “Nothing crazy, I promise. Here,” he scrolled through his cell. “Let me show you what I’m talking about.” Pulling up a few images, he showed them to Breck. “The one I’m doing tonight will look a lot like this.”

Breck eyed the man strung up horizontally. His pulse accelerated at the thought of being that guy. How would it feel? Would it freak him out? Turn him on? And more importantly, what might Kai do to him in that state? His dick thrummed, his imagination stirring. There was only one way to find out.

Go big, Breck. Does this notion excite you?

Yes.Going by his boner, it most certainly did.

Inhaling deeply, he nodded his approval.

The look on his face must’ve conflicted with his answer, because Kai chuckled and gripped his hips. “You sure? Because, I mean, the show isn’t until Thursday, so I still have some wiggle room to find another model.”

But yeah, the thought ofthatonly steeled Breck’s resolve.

He lifted his chin. “No, I’m good.”

Kai nodded, then started to circle him, his voice calm and relaxed. “Okay, so let’s go through the drill. No new injuries, bodily issues, or triggers since the last time we saw each other?”

“Nope.”

“Good.” Kai stopped behind him.

Breck shifted his weight, resisting the urge to glance over his shoulder.

“Since you’re still new at this”—Kai stepped in close—“I want you to practice your breathing before we begin.”
