I basked in Autumn’s beauty as she pleasured both of us. There was no question in my mind I’d get her under my roof as my wife again. I just didn’t know where our roof would be. She probably wanted to return to Manhattan. Both our families were on the East Coast. But my new position at SJI was an excellent opportunity for me. The next step in my climb to the top.

Maybe she’d agree to stay in sunny California for a couple of years. Maybe. In the heart-shaped jacuzzi was not the time to have this discussion.

Her nails pricked my shoulders as her speed picked up. Water sloshed along the rim of the tub and between us. Autumn looked so fucking hot with her mouth gaping and erotic sounds eddying from her sweet lips.

I could watch her like this all day long.

“Oh, Eli… I’m close…”

That was my cue. I dropped my hand down to her pussy and rubbed that little ball of nerves. It was the surest way to taking her over the edge.

“Yes... Oooh, like that.”

Her titties bounced in my face, taunting me. “Gimme your nipple.”

She clenched around me as she took her breast into her hand and guided it into my mouth. I swirled my tongue around her nipple until it formed into a bead, then I sucked for all I was worth in tandem with flicking her clit with my thumb.

Goddamn, I loved the way we were together. We were a perfect match.

We were forever.

“Oh, Eli!”

Her scream sent me over the edge with her. I’d always jump with her, no questions asked.

Forever. We were forever.

This was our second chance, and by damn, it would be our last. Autumn was mine and I was hers.

Strolling through Central Park with my best girl on a glorious spring day was heavenly. Autumn beamed while taking it all in. The conference had ended at three and we promptly left the hotel. We were to be at Uncle Loyd’s home by six, so we had a couple of hours to burn. Cindy and Louis were taking in a show and dinner. I sensed something between them. Maybe love. I didn’t really care one way or the other. As long as they left Autumn and me alone, I was happy.

“We should buy flowers for Mona.”

I lifted our entwined hands and kissed hers. “Yeah. We can get her a bouquet.”

She smiled. “What about wine?”

My poor girl had been fretting all day about seeing my aunt and uncle. She thought they were angry with her for divorcing me. But that was far from the truth. They were furious with me for being a selfish asshole and losing Autumn.

“We can bring wine too.”

“Am I being annoying?”

“Never.”

“Liar.” She giggled, putting her head on my shoulder. “I just want it to be a good visit.”

“It will be, Boo. You have nothing to worry about. My cousins are dying to see you.”

She stopped walking. “The boys are going to be there too? I thought it was just going to be Mona, Loyd, and us.” The color drained from her face.

“Honey, stop. It’s going to be fine. They love you. You know this.”

She shook her head. “They loved your wife before she divorced you. Oh God.” She bent at the waist.

“Autumn, you’re making this a big deal when it doesn’t need to be. Besides, Cadie will be a wonderful distraction. She’s going to adore you.”

“Gwen and Wilson are going to be there too? Everyone is going to be there?” She shook her head. “I’m not ready for this. Call and cancel. I can’t deal with the whole family. Your aunt and uncle, yes. The whole Morgan clan, no fucking way, Eli. I can’t.”
