“So what did you need me for out here?” I tilted my head back to see his handsome face better.
He filled both hands with my ass. “Nothing. I just needed to kiss you. Make sure you hadn’t given up on me after I screwed up.”

“Yeah, I know. I don’t care.” He dropped a kiss on my lips, then touched his nose to mine. “You better get back before someone comes looking for you.”
“Okay. What will you do?”
“I’ve got to run out to the station, but I’ll be back. We’re okay, right?”
His amber orbs searched mine as if genuinely concerned he’d screwed up with me. I suppose he had until now, until I saw how much he wanted me. If I didn’t love him so much, I would have forgotten him a long time ago.
No. No chance Grayson could screw up so badly I’d never want to see him again.
“Yes, we’re okay. Just don’t even think of being Sly Fox anymore. If I so much as see you looking at another woman, I’ll be gone.”
