Storm kissed below my ear. “You ready to go, baby?” He’d been standing behind me the entire time with his arms wrapped around my waist. I loved every second of it, too. “I want you all to myself.”

“Yeah, I’m ready.” I tilted my head up, and he pressed his lips to mine.

“Who do we have here?” a woman asked.

Storm stiffened and ended the kiss.

I turned my head toward the voice. The blonde sashayed farther into the bar, wearingtinydenim bootie shorts and an American flag printed tube top, exposing her midriff. She glared at Storm as if she’d caught him cheating on her.

Was she his go-to kitten? Well, if so, not anymore.

I plastered a bright, friendly smile onto my face. “Hi, I’m Madeline.” I tried to move forward to shake her hand, but Storm wouldn’t release me. His grip tightened around my stomach, and his lips dropped to my neck. What the hell? “Storm… stop,” I whispered, but of course, he didn’t listen.

“Carla, Storm’s kitten.” The woman introduced herself. She pushed her hip out and set her hand on it. Her eyes raked over my body, sizing me up like I was doing to her.

Shit. This woman was his go-to. She wasn’t ugly by any means. A little taller than me, bigger breasts, but they didn’t look real. Then again, what did I know? She was attractive. I could see why Storm would be with her.

Jealousy bloomed in my chest.

My body went straight as a board when her violet-colored eyes connected with mine. Violet? Was it even a natural eye color? This kitten, this Carla-chick, sneered like she wanted to claw my eyes out. I wasn’t a catfighting kind of girl, but mess withmyman, and my nails would come out.

“Not true,” Storm bit back in a commanding voice. “Kittens belong to all the patched members.”

Carla huffed. “But I’m your favorite.”

“I have the only woman I want, right here.” He kissed my neck again. I adored this man even more for making me feel secure. “Let’s go, baby.”

“Great meeting you, Madeline,” Lynx said with a friendly wave.

Track, Hero, and Wolf gave me a nod, and AJ smiled.

“See ya guys later.” I waved as Storm tucked me into his side.

Carla’s face turned red, and her nostrils flared. I might feel bad for her if she’d been with Storm recently. But according to him, he hadn’t been with her in over six months. The woman needed to move on because I had no plans of giving this man up.

“Handle that,” Storm hissed, but I wasn’t sure what he meant or who he was speaking to. It didn’t matter, I was going to be alone with him, and I couldn’t wait.

We went up a flight of stairs and down a long hallway to the very end. Storm took a ring of keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door.

“After you, Angel.” He jerked his chin for me to enter.

What does the bedroom of an MC president look like? What little I knew about Storm, he was a no-nonsense man, always wearing jeans, T-shirts, boots, and his cut.

I never expected a pristine, well-put-together bedroom. Directly in front of me was a king-sized bed flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows. Between them was a herringbone pattern made from what I guessed was reclaimed wood. It was so stunning, it could be a piece of art.

Gray linens dressed the bed. There was a weathered black chest of drawers and a matching set of nightstands. The room wasn’t huge, but it was a lot bigger than mine. There was even a leather club chair and ottoman with a floor lamp in a corner opposite the bed. Hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, and a large oriental rug completed the room.

“Wow, I don’t know what to say.” My eyes flitted around the space.

“Hopefully, that’s a good thing.” He closed the door and locked it. “But don’t be too impressed. This used to be my Uncle Matt and Aunt Eve’s room. When she moved out, it became mine. I just bought new furniture.”

He’d told me his uncle was the original president and died of cancer. I could tell Storm respected his uncle a lot. I hoped to meet his aunt and cousins sometime soon.

“Does the maid come daily to keep, all this”—I waved my hand in front of me—“clean and tidy.”

“Nah, I don’t let anyone in my room. Just you baby…” He circled my waist with his hands and tugged me up against him. “Shit… You freaked me the fuck out earlier.” His mouth was on mine. He couldn’t seem to get enough of my lips.

Freaked him out? Why? I’d ask him to clarify, but this kiss turned my brain to goo and my bones to jelly.
