“It will probably be an important lesson for them.”

One of them looked at her. “What kind of lesson?”

“That no matter how good-looking guys are, they can still be big babies.”

The girl smiled. “Oh. That’s okay. We have a dad and a brother who already taught us that.”

“Looks like they’re starting to arrive.”

Hannah looked out of the window to see Antonio’s car pulling up in the driveway. When he and Grant climbed out, she had to smile. Antonio would, of course be the one who wasn’t nervous in the least. Grant looked happy and relaxed, too.

She checked the clock on the wall. She needed to start getting set up outside. It was much colder than she’d expected, and she’d set up the lights in one of the spare rooms in case they needed to come inside.

“Where’s my hug?” Even though Molly had suggested that she could collect Ava so that he could go straight to Hannah’s from work, Grady had insisted on going to pick her up from Mel’s himself and dropping her off at Molly and Marcos’ place.

Ava came back and wrapped her arms around his neck. “I love you, Uncle Grady.”

“I love you, too, Pixie. You be a good girl for Aunt Molly and Uncle Marcos, okay?”

“I will. And you have fun, won’t you?”

He smiled. “I wish you’d stop worrying about me.”

“I can’t help it.”

He hugged her a little closer. “I know. That was a dumb thing to say. We all worry about the people we love.”

She landed a kiss on his cheek. “I’ll see you tomorrow. Say hi to Hannah for me – and don’t mess it up!”

He had to laugh. “I’ll do my best.”

“And you can tell me all about it tomorrow.”

“Why don’t you go on in, Ava?” said Molly. “Uncle Marcos is in the kitchen with Luca.”

Grady watched her go and then looked at Molly. “What time should I come in the morning?”

“Whenever you like. We’re having a chill day at home. Sleep in if you want or go out for breakfast. She can stay the whole day as far as we’re concerned.”

He made a face at her. “I’ll want my girl back.”

She smiled. “I know, but you might want the time to yourself too.”

“I’m going to the photo shoot from here and then, Hannah and I are going out for a drink. That’s all.”

Molly shook her head. “So, after being alone with a beautiful woman and no shirt, you’re just going to go out for a quiet drink? The Grady I used to know wouldn’t have done that.”

He chuckled. “For one thing, I’m not going to be alone. It takes twelve guys to make a calendar, remember?”

She laughed. “I’m safe to tell you now, because by the time you get there, they’ll have gone. The others had to leave early.”

He frowned. “All of them? Grant said they were going to the city for some dinner, but … this early?”

Molly grinned. “Yup. So, when you get there, you’ll have Hannah all to yourself.”

He stared at her. Not that he was disappointed, but he’d expected to have the other guys around for the photo shoot. He hadn’t expected that he and Hannah would be alone until later.
