"Dispose of them."

"Why? Don't want to give them a chance to change?"

"We don't give baggage chances, William."

"It's Willow, asshole," I replied, forcing him to acknowledge who I was at this time of night. He got his way during the day, but right here and now, this was my time to rule- and play.

When he didn't answer, I let out a long sigh. "I'm leaving."

I began to walk away when he muttered, "Finish the deed, Willow."

"Oh. You want me to do something? Certainly, Papa Dearest. Anything for you," I sweetly said and almost laughed because it was beyond fake. "I'm hanging up, and don't bother calling back. There won't be any remains."

With that, I hung up on the old man and looked over my shoulder to the street covered with bodies and wolves. The sweet metallic scent made me moan in longing, like the smell of gas at a gas station.

Fucking addicting.

Stretching my arms out, I crossed them before snapping my fingers once again. A strong bolt of lightning came from the sky, striking the ground and igniting a bolt of flames that seemed to explode.

I was already walking away as I untied the jacket at my waist and tossed it on. By the time I zipped it up, my body was moving right out of the bubbled space, sounds of laughter, traffic, and sirens jolting to life around me.

I knew they closed off the area. Oh well. Doesn't matter now.

"Bro, did you get that shot of the lightning bolt?"

"We better ditch. The cops are coming."

"We should leave the club! There's a fire out here!"

"Bitch, who cares. I love me some danger."

I smirked at the last comment from a squealing female who was surely drunk. I took a look at her as I kept walking, her eyes seemingly sensing mine before she gave me a wink.

I swear Aurelia has far too many hybrid friends.

My best friend was a triple threat, a wolf-witch-psychopath with a good sense of fashion and far too many connections to keep track of. My dad may run the business world, but the land of drugs, alcohol, magic potions, and anything else that was in close association to fucking dangerous was all her.

I could already imagine waking up to her text messages demanding to know what the hell happened tonight, but I'd let her suffer until I saw her face-to-face. Regardless of our very tight relationship, the Clementines ran this strip of clubs, which was exactly why I took the same route every night.

They would clean this up pretty fast and, in the morning, we'd hear the latest story of a gang trying to blow up the street for their own selfish reasons.

The luxury of power means you can cover up anything.

I had a strong hunch that none of those men were an Alpha, which meant it wouldn't be long before we encountered a raging Alpha on the path of revenge after I killed a good chunk of his pack.

Oops. My bad. They tried to kill me first upon your orders. What could I possibly to do repay you for the loss of your men?

I giggled at the thought as my phone began to buzz. I knew who it was, leaving no need to look at the screen as I answered it.

"How mad is he?"

"Called to scream at me about how much of a bitch you are and wondered which side of the family you took that attitude from ‘cause it ain't his."

Now that was so fucking funny I laughed loud enough to catch a few glances. Turning the corner, I began the long trek down the fifty stairs that would take me to the underground tunnel path leading to the residences.

"What kind of daughter would I be if I didn't remind him of what a mistake I am?" I gasped in horror. "We can't be having that now. That would be against the code of mistake children."

"He's going to kill you one day," Viktor said with a sigh.
