I roll my eyes. “I’d like a little more than that, Doc. I’m feeling the need for romance.”

He sighs. “Fine. I think you’re…Luke, you’re everything I didn’t know I needed. You came into my life during a time that I thought I was happy being alone, but I realize now that I had no idea what happiness was before you. You constantly pull me out of my comfort zone and I’m still reeling from it all, but I don’t want to go back to the way it was before. I want to stay and walk through this life with you. Only you.”

“Aw, Eli. We’re getting married. That’s where this is going,” I tell him, and he scoffs, thinking I’m joking.

I don’t joke about that shit.

He shifts in his seat. “As you know, I am a little wary because of what happened with Andrew.”

“I’m not that asshole,” I bite out.

“I know you’re not,” he says. “He always made me feel less than, but you…you’ve never made me feel that way. I’d like to keep you if you let me.”

“I could be kept,” I say with a smile. Yeah, I already hear wedding bells. I’m thinking white suits and doves. Maybe some guns and fireworks to really set the mood.

Elliot wets his lips and then glances over at me. “I like you a lot, Luke.”

“Like you too, Doc.”

“I’m not the easiest person to get along with.”

“Duh.”

He huffs. “And there’s the matter of my sisters.”

“Nah, they’re cool. I like them.”

“Andrew never liked them.”

“Well, he has terrible taste.”

“He does.”

We sit in silence, and I press against my hard dick. Well, that conversation didn’t help it go down. It’s still raring to go. Asshole. Apparently, thoughts of getting married to Elliot only make it harder.

Thirty minutes later, we’re pulling into a nearly empty Tesla charging station, and I glance at the battery life on the touch screen and snort.

Fucker is pretending like his car needs a charge when he could make it to my parents’ house just fine.

“We need to charge, just in case,” he says, his cheeks flushed, his breathing a little erratic.

“Do we now?” I ask, smirking at him.

“Yes,” he replies as he parks at the far end of the lot where no one else is. Then he hops out, and I watch him pull the charger out and push it into the port. It’s still raining, so he shields his face as he moves forward. But instead of getting back in the driver’s seat, he slips into the back, his fingers already working open the buttons of his shirt.

This guy wants to fuck. But I’m going to make him ask for it. Ask for it all polite, too.

I look through the front windshield and see that the rain has made it nearly impossible for anyone to see in. It’s coming down hard, pounding the sides of the car. When we get to my parents’, there’s going to be so much mud.

Fuck yeah.

“Get back here,” Elliot snaps, pulling his shirt open and exposing his chest to me. I glance over my shoulder and take him in.

Yeah, he has a nice fucking body, gonna lick it all over later.

“You gonna ask me nicely, Eli?”
