Page 43 of Until Him

It was so different from the others. So much better.

“Hey, Theo. You walk super-fast,” he says when he finally makes it up to me. He nudges me in the side as he ducks down under the umbrella, and suddenly he’s entirely too close.

I’ve managed to make it another four days without kissing him. I’ve just watched him jack off after our tutoring sessions.

I can’t get near him.

Not after kissing him. I lost control in those heated moments and his achingly soft lips did something to me, did something to my heart.

However, watching him writhe and thrust on my bed as he touches himself and not being able to participate is becoming harder and harder. He’s a fucking dream and watching him come—his muscles flexing, the sheen of sweat lining his skin, and all that unruly beautiful curly hair—he just looks so angelic. Which is so at odds with how sinful he moans.

The past few days, I’ve had to physically hold onto the chair to keep myself from jumping on him.

Ugh, why can’t he just leave me alone? Why can’t I leave him alone? I wish I knew.

“Where you off to?” Logan asks, running a hand through his wet hair.

“I have lab,” I say, trying to move away from him, but he keeps invading my space.

“Cool, so, I was going to text you, but saw you instead,” he mutters. “I can’t meet tonight. I’m actually going to see my brother.”

My heart sinks, because as much as I detest what a temptation he is, the thought of not seeing him does horrible things to my stomach.

“I’ll be gone the weekend too, so unless you want to like Zoom or some shit, we could just meet again on Monday?”

I swallow and nod, “That’s fine.”

He eyes me and then clarifies, “Like, do you want to Zoom? Or are you cool with just waiting until Monday?”

“Whatever,” I say, and he nudges me slightly.

“Alright, can I text you if I feel like I need it? I don’t want to get behind. I feel like I’m doing so good.”

I nod and his eyes slip down to my mouth and fuck, my lips are dry. My tongue peeks out to wet them and his pupils dilate.

“Fuck, Theo,” he grumbles.

I inhale sharply and force my gaze away, lest I kiss him right here in the middle of campus. God, what would people think? I don’t need any attention drawn to myself. No, I much prefer to blend into the background.

“Hey, Theo, hurry up. We got stuff to do!” my lab partner shouts from the doorway as we approach the science building.

I glance at him and then back at Logan.

“I’ll see you Monday,” I tell him.

Logan eyes Carlos for a minute and then nods. “Alright, Theo. See you in a few days. Don’t miss me too much.”

He winks at me, and I feel my cheeks heat.

Logan smirks and then jogs away, his grey sweater darkening from the rain. I just stand there in the middle of the walkway and track him until he disappears into a building.

“Who was that?” Carlos asks me.

“That was Logan. I’m tutoring him.”

“He looked at you like you do more than just study together,” Carlos teases.

I glare at him. But this guy has been my lab partner for years and he lets my scowl just roll right off his back.
