Page 90 of Until Him

Theo’s cheeks darken. “You are ridiculous.”

“You could play with my nipples while you do it too. God, I’d come in two seconds flat.”

I’m hard again, because duh, talk about a fantasy of mine. His big brain is so damn sexy to me.

“You need to pay attention first and then, maybe, we can mess around a bit.”

“What doesmess aroundentail?” I ask as Curie hops on the bed and plops right down on the open chemistry book. “See, even Curie wants us to fuck again. She saysno more studying, you two.”

Theo huffs out a laugh and grabs my face, kissing the hell out of my mouth and neck. I wrap my arm around his slender body, anchoring him to me, and just take everything he’s willing to give until we’re both breathless.

“She’s a cat. If it fits, she sits,” he murmurs, his lips swollen and pink.

I groan as he scoots Curie off of the book and then continues reviewing the concepts. Curie makes her way over to my lower back and sits on my ass.

What a cockblocker.

Maybe she doesn’t want me to get laid. Maybe she’s tired of seeing us fuck around.

Not that I’d ever get tired of watching that. I’d record it and hit replay.

When he finally closes the book and meets my gaze, my brain is buzzing with new information. I honestly feel like I could stop coming to tutoring and be just fine. Theo is a miracle worker, like everyone said. He’s made all of this seem so much easier than the professor had. I’m actually ahead in class at the moment and I know that I could pass the final, no problem.

Not that I’m going to tell him this. I want to keep seeing him every day. If I tell him that I don’t think I need his help anymore, I’m afraid he’ll push me away.

I’m not ready for this to be over, not when he’s finally opening up to me. So I’ll play dumb and pretend like I need him for the rest of the semester.

And I do. I need him, just maybe not in the way he thinks.

“Want to order a pizza and watch a movie?” I ask.

Theo sits up and nods, smoothing down his hair. “Okay, but no pineapple.”

“Blasphemy,” I joke and pull up the nearest pizza place on my phone.

When it’s delivered, I bring it to the bed, sit, and spread my legs a little.

“Sit here, Theo,” I tell him when he just stands near the bed eyeing me, and I half-expect a fight, but instead, he crawls between them and rests his head against my chest.

Fuck. I think he wants to be held. He was so fragile today, so needy.

I never want to see him cry again.

I wrap my arms around him as he pulls up a movie on his laptop, and we eat the pizza in silence, our eyes on the screen, my hands resting on his bare stomach.

An hour later, he slips off to sleep in my arms and I just hold him the rest of the night.

I fall asleep a fucking happy man.

I make it to Theo’s apartment the next evening with a smile on my face. In my hands are four bags of groceries, because I woke up hungry this morning and his fridge was barebones.

I can’t live like that, especially if I stay over again. No, not if. When.

This man needs snacks.

And jelly doesn’t count.
