Following the departure of Professor Nikoli Balakirev, the last of the international research mission, the investigation into the secret cottage found on Catcher Hill is now complete. The findings have been published in a special report including letters from the families of prisoners of war who were helped to escape by the local resistance.

All the letters speak of the incredible heroism and dedication of the two teenagers, Hedge LeFevre and Helen Hemingway. One such letter describes the cottage where they were hidden asthe secret house of hope.

Copies of the letters have been printed and framed and will be displayed, along with carvings and other artwork, as part of a special exhibition to be mounted in the old cottage on Catcher Hill.

“It is time we recognise the Hemingway family for what they sacrificed.” The seigneur announced last night at the official opening of the exhibition. This cottage will be officially renamed The Helen Hemingway House of Hope.
