“Hot Aussie in a suit?” Bria repeated. “Zet, are you making any sense right now?”

Elisa smiled at the Aussie from the airport. He wasindeedvery hot. If not for her sisters’ conversation, she’d be half convinced he was a figment of her imagination.

“Hey, Owen.” Laughter filled Zeta’s voice. “Do youknowthe guy talking to the woman in yellow?”

“Angus?” Owen said. “Yeah, he’s my mate from school.”

Elisa shot her future brother-in-law a quick glance. “Yourwhat?”

“My best friend. From school. He owns Buckley’s Chance. He’s one of the best chefs in Australia. Why?”

Zeta threw Elisa a grin. “Elisa shared a moment with him back in the airport.”

Owen let out a soft whistle as Elisa’s cheeks burned. “A moment, eh?”

“It wasn’t anything,” Elisa mumbled, throat growing tighter.

“He asked for her number,” Zeta countered.

Owen’s eyebrows shot up, and Bria’s mouth fell open.

“Stop it,” Elisa groaned, face burning hotter. Angus’s gaze found hers once more over the woman in yellow’s shoulder. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips and her stomach flip flopped again.

“So who’s the woman in yellow?” Zeta asked.

Owen shrugged, turning his attention to Angus and the woman talking to him. “No idea. Let’s go find out.”

He threaded his fingers through Bria’s, dropped a wink at Elisa, and hurried over.

Elisa didn’t miss the relief falling over Angus’s face as Owen and Bria drew closer.

“Mate,” Owen almost drawled, slapping his palm to Angus in a firm handshake before they hugged each other.

The woman in yellow shuffled backward, lips twisting in obvious frustration. Beside Angus the woman with the spikey violet hair Elisa had seen driving the Lexus gave Elisa, Zeta and Bria a contemplative inspection.

“You’re early, you bastard,” Angus pointed out, laughing, as Owen let him go.

“Sorry,” Owen said, not a hint of apology in his voice. He slid his arm around Bria’s waist and pulled her to him, even as he indicated for Elisa and Zeta to join them with a jerk of his head. “I’ve got three hungry Americans to feed, you know.”

The woman in yellow let out a sigh. “Angus, if I can just have a moment of your—”

“Owen, this is Kara.” Angus turned to the wild-haired woman, his smile relaxed even as he pointedly ignored the woman in yellow. “The scariest sous chef in the country.”

Owen chuckled, shaking Kara’s offered hand. “Ah, yes, I’ve heard about you.”

“All good, I know,” Kara answered with an accent Elisa couldn’t quite identify.

The woman in yellow puffed out a louder, exasperated sigh. “AndI’mNora Young. TV producer.” She stepped forward, almost into the middle of the casual circle. “And Ineedto talk to Angus for just a moment, so if I may—”

“How many times do I have to say it, Nora?” Angus said, frustration inhisvoice.

“Say what?” Owen asked.

Kara grunted. “She wants him to be the next man stud on that show.” She slid her attention to Elisa, arching a pierced eyebrow. “The one where a single man supposedly picks a woman with a rose.”

“What?” Elisa burst out. “No!”

Everyone snapped their stares to her.
