Mase shut his eyes and pressed his lips together. “She’s my wife, Sean. If it doesn’t include her, it doesn’t happen.”

Sean placed Mase’s palm on his chest. “Nothing stops the way I feel. Just feelings, that’s all I’m telling you. I just need you to know. Right here, that’s where you are, my boy.” Sean looked into his eyes and their breath mingled.

“Fuck,” Mason quietly swore as his lips pressed into Sean’s. Sean reached for the back of Mase’s head and pulled him down to him. Mason’s strong hand wrapped around his neck as his thumb traced the sharp line of his jaw. They bit at each other’s mouth as Mason held his body above him.

Sean’s cock lengthened and he wondered if he would ever get any relief. Mason lowered himself and Sean realized, he too, was hard. The weight of his lost lover’s body was so familiar, amplifying everything he’d forsaken when he walked away thirteen years ago. A sharp pain sliced through his heart and he fought the urge to break down and cry.

Sean’s knees drew up and fell wide. He slid his hand down to Mase’s ass and held him there as he ground himself into him. Hard cock to hard cock. Mason moaned into his mouth.

Sean reached up for Mase’s hand, pulling it from his neck, placing Mace’s hand between Sean’s legs. He couldn’t be the aggressor here. If he expected Mason to trust him the way he once had, he was certain he would be disappointed, a result of his own stupid mistakes. Having his own lack of trust thrown into his face was something he couldn’t handle, so he needed Mason to be in control.

Mason broke the kiss and turned, breathing hard into the hard curve of Sean’s shoulder. He said nothing, but reached into Sean’s briefs and pulled out his cock. He ran his hand up and down the length and squeezed. Sean knew Mason was struggling with being true to his wife and being true to himself. As wonderful as Mason’s body and touch felt, fairness and fidelity controlled the bulk of what they were feeling. He ran his hand over the back of Mase’s head tenderly and held him as Mase touched him.

Mason’s hand began to move faster, jerking and pulling on Sean’s hard cock. Sean moaned and settled his back into the bed. Mason wasn’t looking at him or what he was doing, only feeling him, likely remembering how it was. Memories came hurtling back. The moment was so intense they each seemed to have trouble breathing through it.

Sean kissed the side of his head. “Remember how good it was? How many nights we went without sleep just to be with each other?”

Mason’s grip tightened as he tugged harder, faster. Sean’s balls drew up tight. “I’m gonna come if you keep that up,” he quietly warned. Mason only provoked him farther by moving even faster.

They were each breathing heavily. His toes tingled and jolts of electricity buzzed up his spine. Sean’s cock swelled and pulsed under Mase’s firm grip as hot cum bubbled up to the surface and spilled over his hand. It was such an all-encompassing release, one he’d longed for, one only Mason could provide. Tears prickled his eyes.

Mase slowed and eased his grip. Sean’s head hummed with pleasure as his heart pounded in his chest. He quickly turned and rolled himself on top of Mase.

There were tears in his old lover’s eyes. “Don’t cry, Mase. Please. Your life is beautiful. Don’t let the past confuse you. I wasn’t strong enough to be what you needed. Libby is. I’ll stay, but not if it hurts either one of you.” He leaned down and softly kissed him.

Mason slowly gave over his mouth. They became reacquainted with each other’s taste and feel. When they pulled apart Mason whispered, “I doubt I will ever stop loving you.”

Sean looked down into his soft brown eyes.

“I know. Me too.”

Chapter Nine

Sean came downstairs to some sort of delicious scent that sent his imagination on a wild tailspin of hunger and unleashed his raw lust for Libby’s cooking. As he entered the dining room he found Mason reading the paper, already dressed for work, but no food in sight.

“Hey,” he greeted as he took a seat and poured himself a cup of coffee from the carafe sitting on the table.

“Good morning.”

“Did you sleep well?” Sean asked.

With a shuffle of papers, Mason gazed back at him, a knowing look in his eyes. “What do you think?”

“How is she?”

“She’s good. I spoke to her early this morning and so long as you remember what I said last night, everything should be fine.”

“Yeah, about that,” Sean said as he sipped his coffee. God damn, but everything that woman made tasted perfect. “What exactly do you expect me to do?”
