His finger slipped into her sex and gathered some of her cream. He pulled his finger back to her clit and began rubbing tight little circles as he kissed her neck, shoulder, and nibbled her ear. As his tongue licked the sensitive wing of her collarbone her body rocketed into full out arousal. When he pinched the nipple poking at her shirt she moaned.

“Shh, we have to be quiet.”

She bit her lip. Pressure built deep in her belly and her knees began to tremble. “Mason,” she whispered. “I’m going to come.”

“I know.” He continued to rub her clit and she whimpered.

“I don’t know how to be quiet.”

His hand left her breast as his other hand worked faster, harder. Her body tensed. She squeaked and suddenly Mason’s hand was over her mouth, her breath echoing off the tops of his fingers. Fear, excitement, and a welcomed sense of taboo had her eyes opening wide. “Come for me, Liberty.”

Her orgasm broke over her and Mason’s hand trapped her cries in the back of her throat. Her body trembled and he had to cup his palm between her legs to hold her up. Chills traveled over her shoulders and up to her scalp. He kissed her neck and slowly removed his hand from her mouth.

“Beautiful.”

Liberty sighed and her head lolled on his shoulder. “Mason?”

“Yes, baby?”

“Can we go home now?”

After returning from town they enjoyed a quick lunch and changed for the beach. Sean and Mason carried the bags and towels over the high dunes that always reminded Liberty of great big tortoise shells turned to sip off the coast. They settled their belongings and the guys took off for the water once they were sure she was comfortable.

Liberty loved autumn in the Outer Banks when all the summer tourists fluttered home to heed the upcoming winter and hurricane season. The beaches were bare but still warm. The ocean was perfect for fishing right from the surf and the temperature dropped just enough for cozy sweatshirts and bonfires at night.

Turning her head to the left, she kept her eyes closed against the sun as its warm rays heated her skin. She was nervous in a delicious way about what would happen once they returned to the house. Liberty was glad that Mason decided they would order pizza tonight because she was completely distracted.

Her husband’s deep laugh had her opening her eyes. Her head lifted and she squinted against the white beams of sunlight, drawing her hand up to act as a visor. There in the water, Sean tackled Mason. He jumped up, palms firmly planted on his shoulders, keeping his muscular arms stiff and rocketed himself into the air forcing Mason to topple over. Mason shot back through the surface, his hair streaming an arc of crystal droplets against the blue backdrop of the horizon as he threw himself at Sean and knocked the larger man down.

It was amusing, how men of all ages never stopped playing and horsing around like boys. Something caught Liberty’s eye and she shifted slightly to get a better view. What had she just seen? A shift, but she wasn’t sure what it was, perhaps a slight alteration in Mason’s posture or a familiar, meaningful cock of his head. Whatever it was it was subtle, but Liberty recognized it. It triggered a sexual stirring inside of her like a green light triggers the impulse to go, but she was all the way over here and Mason wasn’t looking at her. He was looking at Sean.

Sean laughed and dove under the water. He resurfaced several yards away and at a much deeper point. Mason followed and it became too much of a strain on her eyes to continue watching them. They bobbed in the distance, the water cloaking their bodies to their shoulders, and their heads close together, two little black dots winking in and out of her view like a mirage. It seemed they were discussing something. Liberty’s stomach fluttered at the idea that they were likely discussing her.

She turned her head and rested her cheek on the blanket, facing the dunes. Her hearing became muffled and she let the slow washing sounds of the waves soothe her. She must have drifted off because the next thing she knew cool droplets of salt water were jarring her awake.

“You sleeping, Lib?”

She turned at her husband’s voice. He was drying himself off. “Where’s Sean?”

“He walked back to the house. You about ready to do the same?”

“What time is it?”

“Four. Your shoulders are getting a little pink. I think you’ve had enough sun for the day.”

Four. How long had she been sleeping? She stretched and began gathering up her belongings. She shook the sand off the blanket and folded it. Mason took it from her and helped her slide her arms into her cover up. After he tied the belt at the waist he gently kissed her nose and smiled down at her.
