“Vike?” Nightmare’s heavy gaze falls on him. “What’s the plan of action, brother?”

The Prez releases a breath. “Nothing, Night. I know it’s not what you want to hear, but there’s a reason. Like Ruger pointed out, he didn’t find them all. I’m going to get with Ares about this, so he knows what we do as well. We’re going to keep searching. Rest assured brother, when we peg the lot of them down, they will burn.”

Nightmare’s hands unclench and then retighten into fists, his glower toward the table so harsh you’d think it’d blow the damn thing up. “I understand, but I have a debt to settle still.” He growls.

“We know brother,” Viking nods. “It will be collected; you have my word.”

Ruger finishes. “I’ll go wherever you need me to.”

“Appreciate it.” He drinks from his bourbon, “Does anyone have anything to add?”

Saint’s finger shoots up. I’m a bit surprised; I figured he’d want me to ask about Jude.

“Saint?”

“As an officer of this club, I’d like to put in a nomination.”

Wow, really not what I was expecting. Everyone’s brows furrow as well, clearly thinking the same thing as me.

“A nomination? What do you have in mind, brother?”

Saint gets to his feet, glancing around the table before finally landing on Odin. “I think it’s time we vote on our VP. Odin’s paid his dues. We know his loyalty lies with the club and having you so close, he’ll learn from the best.”

Viking glances around the table next, noticing no protesting from the other brothers. “Well, to say I wasn’t expecting this would be an understatement. However, I have to agree with you, brother. Odin has shown his loyalty, and I have it in good faith that he’s racked up enough favors from each of you by now.”

The brothers chuckle, and some nod—the statement very true.

“It’s settled, then. Everyone think long and hard on it. It’s a serious patch for him to fill and the next session, we’ll hold a vote.”

Odin shoots a surprised grin at Saint, and I can’t help but be proud of my brother for being the one to speak up about it. We all know the kid deserves it. He’s had one hell of a life and would do us all proud if shit hit the fan.

“All right, any other business?”

It’s my turn to raise my fingers for attention.

“Sinner?”

“I, uh, have a personal request.”

“Shoot.” He tips his drink back, and I glance to Saint. He nods, ready.

“All right then, me an’ Saint want to claim Jude as ours.”

Mercenary grunts, and I shoot him a glower.

“I’m not asking for permission to make the bitch mine; she already belongs to me,” I stress, glaring at him the entire time I grit the words out. Flicking my stare back to Prez, I explain, “I’m bringing this up because of the public claiming.

He nods.

“You’ve gotten to see how our girl is in the time she’s been here. I’m bringing this up because Saint and I are ready to stake a claim, here and now. It’ll be members only, so she doesn’t have a panic attack or some shit.”

“Ah, I get what you mean, Sin.” He meets Odin’s gaze and waves him on.

Odin sits up. “All in favor of Sinner bringing his woman into the chapel?”

We’re met with a chorus of “ayes.” Even Mercenary gives his approval all be it sounding a little bitter.

“We’ll wait on you, brother,” Viking grumbles, pouring him another two fingers of bourbon before passing the bottle off to Blaze.
