“Yes, it is incredible, and no.Angelina can heal others, not just reborns.Just ask Gid.”Angelina grinned at Gideon, and we turned to see his face turning red.
“The scar on his face is about fifty percent better than it was, but he had another scar that you can’t see, and it is one hundred percent healed.”
“Does Portage know you can do that?”I asked.
“Oh, hell no!That’s why his face still has a scar.We didn’t want people to see him one day with one and then the next day have it healed.”
“Smart, but that is an excellent ability to have, Lena,” I told her.
“Are you compelling your blood?”Kristin asked her sister, and she nodded.
“Yeah, like you did after Josh drank from you.”
“That is pretty awesome.”
“It is, but right now, I am more interested in knowing what Portage said to you,” Angelina stated.
“Well, if you can break away from Hugh for a little while, I’d like you to join us while we speak to Henry and Clayton.Then we can all discuss it together.”
“Fine, but Gideon and Corbin are coming too.”Kristin eyed Gideon closely.“Gid was one of the leaders of the camp in Detroit.You can trust him.He has a lot of contact with several camps in other states that can assist us with whatever we do.”
“Alright, then Gideon comes too,” Kristin said.“Hugh, you rest, and Angelina can fill you in later.It won’t be long before you are up and around.You already look better than you did when we came in.”
“I feel better too.Thank you, both of you, and thank you for coming.”
Kristin smiled at him.“I would never leave you hanging, Hugh.You might not be my mate now, but you will always be family and important to me.”
With that, Kristin took my hand, and we walked out to speak with the elders about the next chapter of the war.
