“Is this one even bigger than at the Callahans’?” he asked.
I nodded. “Yeah. I used to pull the curtains closed and hide in here for hours.”
His smirk was a promise of delicious sinfulness. He lifted and turned me, so I was on the window seat on my knees, my back to him. He peppered kisses along my shoulder and neck as his fingers trailed between my legs.
I breathed in deeply as I leant back against him and he wrapped his other arm around me, his forearm sitting between my breasts so he could drape his hand lazily around my throat. Pleasure zinged around my body, accompanied by the opposing chill on my skin from cold coming through the window. Everything was heightened and my nipples pulled tight from more than just the chill.

He dropped beside me with a contended sigh and pulled me to him.
I ran my fingers gently over the bruise on Valen’s cheekbone as we lay there in the window seat. The chill through the now very fogged up window helping to cool me down after our exertions.
“Did you two come to fisticuffs again?” I asked him, thinking they both deserved it.
Valen shook his head. “Marco saw fit to fuck the both of us up for how we treated you. And rightly so.”
I smiled. “He is my guardian Angel,” I teased.
Valen nodded solemnly as he ran his nose over my cheek, his lips trailing softly behind. “He’s done a better job than me.”
“That’s because you’re Apollo’s Angel first.”
I felt Valen smile against my temple. “And Marco’s yours first? Is that it?”
“I’m still the goddess of Saint Benedicts,” I reminded him. “Maybe I should have my own Angels?”
“God’s Angels are your Angels, princess. But you’re notSaint Bens’Goddess…”
“Oh, is that so?”
