Maybe this could work.

Stranger things have happened.

Following him back to his Jeep, we arrive back at his home less than twenty minutes later. The ride home was quiet as both of us were seemingly deep in thought. He must be questioning everything like I am. Who wouldn’t?

Here’s this guy who says he doesn’t do relationships, insists on not being in one, but spends lots of time with me, takes me out to dinner, and now he wants to spend the night with me? I don’t even know how to feel about this.

Except that it’s confusing as fuck.

Instead of bringing me inside, Cole leads me around the back of the house. We enter his fenced-in yard and make our way to his screened-in gazebo-type porch. Lounge chairs and pillows fill the warm and inviting space, and the lantern lights hanging above provide a soft glow.

I drop my shoes and watch as Cole quickly moves the pillows and cushions around, making a nice place for us to lie down.

“Want to look at the stars?” He points at the roof of the gazebo, and I notice a window design in the top, allowing a full view of the night sky.

It’s beautiful.

We lie down next to each other, Cole wrapping his arm around me while I nuzzle into his chest. The clear and bright sky makes for a perfect night to stargaze. We point out the North Star, the Little Dipper, and the Big Dipper before our conversation turns to life on other planets.

Time slips by as we spend hours talking. My eyes grow heavy as the night wears on, but the ache between my legs lingers. When Cole leans up onto one elbow and kisses me, I groan in relief, desperate for his touch, his taste.

We slowly undress each other, taking our time to explore each other with our fingers and our tongues. He fills every part of me, and I’m drunk off his taste and high off his scent. His voice is music to my ears, his touch as hot as fire, and his handsome face a feast for my eyes.

He makes love to me under the stars, and when we finish, we start all over again.
