“It’s taking forever. What does it look like?”

“It’s absolutely beautiful. You’re going to be so pleased with it.”

“I want it to be perfect for our special day.”

“You are going to be the most beautiful bride in the entire world. Trust me on that.”

The tattoo artist grinned at him. “You two are the cutest couple I’ve ever worked on.”

Glancing down at his pretty fiancé, Ace responded proudly, “You’re half right. She’s cute, and I’m a scary, bad-ass biker. Thanks for bringing your mobile set-up out for us. We appreciate it.”

“It was my pleasure.” Pulling his hand back, the artist asked excitedly, “Are you ready to see your new tat?”

Ace helped Barbara up and off the table. The tattoo artist held up the huge mirror Ace had dragged out to their backyard. Barbara let her long gown fall down around her ankles and admired her back in the mirror. Her noticeable baby bump made him smile.

He looked over the huge set of black, gothic wings on her back and his name in stylized letters running straight up her spine. It was one of the most beautiful pieces he’d ever seen. “What do you think?”

“I love it. It’s bold and dramatic, just like we discussed.” Her eyes got all melty. “Thank you so much for arranging this for me.”

The tattoo artist beamed at how delighted she was with the design. Handing him a small wad of semi-permanent body art makers, he announced, “Like I explained before, these are non-toxic and perfectly safe to use during a pregnancy. Once the baby is born, I’ll replicate it in permanent ink.”

“Thank you so much. I’m definitely coming to your shop after the baby is born.”

Ace gestured to the yard that was filling with his MC brothers. “Stay and enjoy the wedding.”

“So you really like it?” Ace asked once they were alone.

“I do. Maybe not as much as yours, but I like it.”

“If you had a nice big rod, you could get one like mine.” He winked playfully.

She smiled at him using her word for his cock. “You really don’t get it, do you, handsome?”

“Get what?”

“Whose name is written down your cock in nice thick letters?”

“That would be yours, dearie.”

“That makes it mine,” she husked.

Tugging her closer, Ace felt happiness singing through his body. “I’d have to agree with you about that.” Placing both hands tentatively against her stomach, he looked down into her eyes. He liked making her happy, having her close, and feeling his little one move.

Taking out his wallet, he said, “I have a little good luck charm for you.”

“Really?” she asked excitedly. “What is it?”

Holding up the little red heart-shaped sticker she’d given the first time they met, he asked, “Where you want it? I can tuck it right inside your top where no one can see it.”

“Stick it right here on my dress.” She pointed to the thin strap covering her right shoulder. “It’s tiny. I doubt anyone will notice it except us.”

“You got it, angel.” Laying it against a small, silver buckle detail that held up the side, she stuck it firmly to the metal.

“I can’t believe you kept that,” she said, truly amazed.

“Well, I did. What’s next?”

Her eyes lit up. “Do that thing you like to do.”
