“What’s wrong?” Hangman demands as he gets close.

“Jordan is missing, we went to the room after seeing the babies and she’s gone, nurses don’t even know how she’s gone just but she is. They are checking security now.”

“Fuck.” Hangman grinds out and Decker takes off, from what Rage told me he’s the best damn tracker this club has, so, hopefully, he can find her.

“I’ll call up Wiz and Manic, they can hack the servers in the hospital and see if she left,” Gunner says and pulls out his phone.

“What do you need from me?” Hangman asks, rubbing at his beard.

“Rage is losing it, I need someone to calm him down, and watch Kara, I’m going home to check on Weston. And we’ll also need someone to swing by the other moms house to check on the boys.”

Hangman nods. “On it. You be safe. If you see Jordan, call us right away.” He walks away toward Jordan’s room. Hopefully, he can calm Rage down. He needs to be level-headed.

I grab my purse and say a quick goodbye to Kara and rush out and to my car. Driving home doesn’t take me long and I notice the lights still on. Weston is still up.

Getting inside the house, my blood turns to ice and I drop to the ground as a gunshot rings out. I can’t get to my phone right now. Hopefully, someone heard that and calls it in.

“Jordan, put the gun down.” I look at Weston who is standing in the living room with his hands up, he looks pissed more than scared. “You okay, Weston?”

“Yeah, but this crazy bitch came in miming shit a few minutes before you, waving the gun around. She doesn’t look like she can stand for long, often leans against the wall.” I bet she is, having a c-section is no joke, it’s a surgery I had when I lost one of my babies at the five-month mark. I’m surprised she’s doing this now, instead of waiting for when she healed more.

“Jordan, put down the gun, we can talk.”

She opens her mouth and words finally come out of her, but they sound more slurred. “You took what was mine, so now, I’m taking everything from you.” Her words are garbled, almost as if this is the first time she’s ever spoken. I’m not surprised, in the year and a half that I’ve known her, she has never uttered a word.

“Rage was never yours Jordan.”

“My babies!” she yells and points the gun towards Weston. “I’m going to take his.”

She fires off a bullet and I rush in, taking it instead. It hits me in the chest and I go down like a bag of sand. Fuck, that hurts. I’ve never been shot before, stabbed sure, but not shot. And I’m not sure what pain is worse right now.

“You bitch!” Weston yells and rushes Jordan, knocking her down and she cries out in pain. But I don’t stay awake long enough to know what else is happening because darkness overcomes me.
