He’s been in my head since the moment he died, forcing me to be his hand and to complete what he couldn’t. His thirst for revenge is a living, breathing thing inside of my head. The only way to get rid of him in my head is to do what he couldn’t; kill Declan and Alayna.

If it wasn’t for Alayna showing up and becoming everyone’s favourite obsession, my father could have lived out his life and fulfilled his duty to punish the children that nobody loved. He believed that kids that were abandoned in the system were there because they failed God in a former life. His job was to make sure God’s punishment came to fruition.

Our family is special, we have a connection to the afterlife and God that nobody else does. My father told me God spoke directly to him, and now that my father is dead, he relays God’s messages through me. Instead of being a worthless, good-for-nothing miscreant, I’m my father’s only chance of enacting his final God-given duty.

Once I kill little Layna, I’m going to fuck her dead body because even in death she deserves to be desecrated for what she did to my family. She’s the fucking devil incarnate, the one God said to punish the most. She walks around looking like a seductive basket of sin, one meant to tempt and corrupt men.

My father had the power to use her body for sin and expel that sin back to where it belongs. Now, she’s been punished as far as she can be in her body, it’s time to send her soul back to hell to finish her punishment.

Scratching a cross into my left arm, I laugh as the blood starts pooling on the surface, reminding me of my task. Little Layna needs to die, her blood spilled all over the ground. That task was handed to me by my father, and I will not be a disappointment to him any longer. This is my comeuppance, and I intend to make good on it.

When the time comes, I’ll be making my escape. Nothing and no one can stop me. I’ve got the power of God and my father on my side.

That’s my boy.
