Pixie grabbed a shot off of the bar and spun around. “Oh, that’s the best thing.” She held her shot up into the air. “To trouble!”

All the women grabbed their own shots, so Jade followed their lead. They all clicked them together.

“To trouble.” Jade threw back her shot with the rest of the women, glad that she had come.

The Asian woman held out her hand after they were done. “Hi, I’m Anna. I haven’t been able to break away to join you all yet, but I’ve heard the lessons you’ve been giving are a lot of fun.”

“Oh, they are.” Val laughed, the sound musical. “As my aching muscles will tell you, they are definitely a real workout.”

She winked and Jade smiled, remembering the first lesson where her men had challenged that Parkour wasn’t a real workout. Had that only been a little under a week ago?

“So what? We wait out here until the men get done with their business?” Jade hoped her question didn’t sound like a complaint.

“The joys of being an Old Lady.” Pixie swooned back exaggeratedly.

Jade took in the leather vests all the women were wearing. She had figured like the men, the cut was part of the uniform. “So what, you’re their wives? Is that what Old Lady means?”

“Not necessarily.” Val smiled. “At least not in a legal sense.”

Pixie smiled. “I’m living in sin.”

“Actually, I think Tari and I are the only ones of us that are actually married,” Val said.

Cami shook her head. “Nope. Tek and I are married.”

Pixie’s look of shock was comical. “What do you mean, you and Tek are married? How could you not have invited us!”

Cami smirked. “Well, since I don’t think Tek kn-knows either, it would have been awkward to have a party.”

Confusion and disbelief warred for supremacy in her emotions. Jade took comfort in that all the women seemed to be feeling the same thing. “How exactly are you married and he doesn’t know about it?”

Cami waved her hand as if it was no consequence. “I hacked into the office of r-records and filed our paperwork a few months ago.”

Tari let out a deep laugh. “That’s priceless. Dragon and I got married last December. Mostly because Mama Rios insisted. I think her exact quote was, ‘The leather vest is very pretty, mija. But I want to watch you walk down the aisle and hear you say the words before God’.”

These women were strange and fun. Jade liked how they didn’t seem to care what their relationships would look like to the outside world. They had a love for life that was wonderful. “Well, if it’s not a wedding, that makes you an Old Lady. What is it?”

Pixie got a smile on her face that turned her innocent looks into something dirty. “Well, your man, or men,” the woman winked at her, “have to claim you before at least five brothers. And then you show your devotion right back.”

The way the woman said the wordclaimmade it obvious that she wasn’t talking about words. Jade’s cheeks flushed and her eyes widened as varied dirty images played through her mind. She cleared her throat.

“So, you just…” She wasn’t sure how to put it into words. Her stuttering was amusing the women, if the looks on their faces were any indication.

“Let our men fuck us in front of a bunch of their Brothers?” Pixie blinked fake innocent eyes at her.

“Yes?” Jade coughed as she spoke the word.

Val chuckled. “Yes, darlin’. That’s what we mean.”

Anna rolled her eyes. “Not all of us. Stop teasing the poor girl. I’m not quite the exhibitionist these other women are. The rules are exactly what she said. They just have to claim you. Then you have to promise to be loyal, for life, in front of witnesses.”

Cami giggled. “But it’s so m-much more fun the other way.”

Jade tried to picture it. The image of how Hannibal had held her up fucking her from the front while Ink filled her from behind leapt to the front of her thoughts. It had been such an intense, overwhelming experience.

She didn’t consider herself a shy person. But being that open and vulnerable in front of a crowd wasn’t appealing. Jade shook her head, trying to throw off the thoughts. It was early days yet, and not something she needed to be thinking about now.

Cami bumped her shoulder. “I warned you, things get w-wild around here.”
