“Cullen, I didn’t plan on coming here,” I blurt out.
He hands me the popcorn bowl. “But you’re here now, love. That’s all I care about.”
“What is this? Be real. Are you just trying to get into my panties?”

I shrug my shoulders.
Cullen then touches my face.
He lowers his forehead down to mine.
His eyes flicker just a little bit.
Gone is happy and lovable Cullen Doyle. Gone is the guy who just decorated a bedroom for me because I said I wanted to watch scary movies while it was cool and rainy.
“I want to fuck you, Jaci Ruby,” Cullen whispers. “And I’m going to fuck you. So if that’s worrying you, get it out of your mind. Touching you isn’t enough for me. I want more. And I will get more.”
I almost drop the popcorn bowl.
My knees begin to shake.
“Now, do you want to watch some scary shit or not?” Cullen asks.
“Maz and Birdie don’t like it,” I say for some reason. “They were ruining the movie for me. So I came here. I figured you would at least play into what I wanted.”
