“Forget everything I just said,” I whisper. “I need to know who that is.”
“That’s one of theHeirs,” Maz whispers.
“That’s Cullen Doyle,” Birdie says.
“And who was the guy that wants to kill me?” I ask.
Maz finally tells me the name. “Archeron Amatti.”
“Or just Archer,” Birdie says.
“Let me guess, he’s anHeirtoo?” I ask.
“No,” Maz says. “He should be, but he’s not.”
“Why not?” I ask.
Birdie grabs my hand again. “Jaci, I have to tell you something.”
“What?” I ask.
Birdie swallows hard.“The more you find out… the more your life is at risk…”
Chapter 6
If you’re keeping track of things - like I’m trying to - here’s what I know so far.
A guy named Archer wants to kill me.
Why?
I have no idea.
I could assume it’s because I’m the new girl on campus, but killing me for that reason alone seems a little excessive.
Especially when you consider my life really isn’t worth much of anything.
There’s another guy named Cullen.
He’s gorgeous and when he looks at me it’s like fireworks exploding in my chest.
He’s anHeir.
Speaking of which…
Apparently, I’m aThorn.
Because I have a vagina.
And then there are theSavages.
They party at a massive house calledSentral.
And there’s a party there tonight.
Also, when I arrive to the dorm for theThorns, there’s a whole bunch of stuff waiting for me on a bed.
These aren’t dorm like you see on some show.
