She smiles.
Birdie crouches down. “Which one?”

“Oh, come on,” Maz says. “Both of them?”
“At the same time?” Birdie asks. “Please tell me it was at the same time.”
“No,” I say. “But they were kind of waiting for me. I really didn’t get to do much exploring.”
“Oh, you did plenty of exploring,” Maz says. “I’m so jealous of you. FuckingHeir!”

“The bomb threat is fake,” I say. “Just like you predicted, Maz.”
