The voice booms.
Rosa’s eyes go wide.

I’m so high.
I’m all floaty when I hear the voice call out about drugs.
I panic but only for a second.
Then I close my eyes.
I know my eyes shut for only a second but in that second I envision myself going back home to Faye.
I tell Faye everything that happened atDSC.
She’s all bloody and beat up.
I hate that this is her life.
Then she tells me I need to pay rent.
And for me… I have a guitar… but I also have a body.
So then I become the naked girl playing guitar and then…
I open my eyes and that vision is instantly gone.
“What the fuck do we do?” I ask Rosa.
“Just play it cool,” she says. “Can’t prove anything.”
“Do you have more drugs on you?” I ask.
She nods.
“Then you should run!” I cry out to her.
“You won’t rat on me?”
“Rat on you?”
“Tell on me, Jaci. Are you going to give me up? Dime me out? Throw me under the bus?”
“Oh… no. I would never do that to you. Just go. Please.”
Rosa touches my face. “You really are awesome, Jaci. I hope you know that.”
“I smell drugs!”
The voice booms.
