“Hate keeps us honest,” Cullen says.

“You’ll keep your mouth shut,” Archer warns.
“Is this about my family?” I ask. “Is this because if Seth says something…”
“It’s about everything,” Cullen says as he stands up too. “It’s about honor. Family. What this all is. You’re not part of it, Vossenax.”
“Are you sure about that?” Seth asks.
Archer and Cullen glance at each other.
“I won’t just leave,” Seth says.
“You’ll leave this house though,” Cullen says. “We’re done here.”
“But nothing happened!” I yell.
Seth walks out of the room.
Cullen follows.
Archer moves slower.
When he gets close to me, he lifts his knife and touches the tip of the blade to my chin. Very gently.
And that’s it.
I hurry after all three.
Seth is the first to open the door.
That’s when Quinn Doyle punches Seth in the face.

We all know Seth deserves the punch.
Even Seth.
He takes the punch and nods at Quinn.
Quinn looks ready to hit him again and Cullen steps in.
“You got your shot, Quinn,” Cullen says.
“Nice punch too,” Seth says.
“I’m going to fucking kill you,” Quinn says to Seth.
“No, you’re not,” Seth says. “You’re going to need me around. We’re going to be brothers.Savagestogether.”
Quinn spits at the ground. “Over my dead body.”
