“I should call my sister and check in. Then maybe breakfast? Or I guess lunch now.”
“I can arrange that.”

The rain starts to come down harder and I climb out of bed, pulling on some shorts as I head to find my girl and see what she wants to do now that most outdoor activities will be canceled.
She’s still on the phone and she holds up a finger, letting me know that she’ll just be another minute.
“That’s awesome, Elodie. I’ve got to go, but I’ll call you when I’m back in California and we can go out for lunch or something.”
She smiles at something that her sister says and I smile too.
“Okay, love you too. Talk soon.”
She hangs up and turns to face me.
“It’s raining,” I tell her and she laughs.
“I noticed.”
“Did you still want to go out to lunch?”
“Sure, can we get a car?” she asks and I smirk.
“Whatever you want,” I tell her, dropping a kiss on the tip of her nose as I head back to the bedroom.
I grab my phone and order a car from the car service associated with the hotel.
“I’m going to take a shower before we go if that’s alright?” Chloe says as she joins me in the bedroom.
“Mind if I join you?” I ask, giving her a cheeky grin.
I expect her to laugh it off, but she surprises me.
“Sure,” she says, untying her robe and letting it pool at her feet.
My jaw drops and I jump over the edge of the bed, rushing to follow her into the bathroom.
She giggles as I strip and join her under the spray.
