Feeling his release all over my hand sends beads of pleasure all over my body as I relax against the wall. His lips nip lightly at my neck, making their way up to meet mine. This kiss is different, slow and sensual, and I love it even more than the overwhelming passion we just shared.

I take my hand out of his boxers and smile down at the evidence of his arousal coating my fingers. “Looks like you had a good time,” I tease as he sends me a heated look.

“You have no fucking idea,” he says, breathless. I bring my fingers to my mouth, needing to know what he tastes like and the moment his arousal hits my tongue I know I’m going to need more. “Damn, JJ, you trying to drive me crazy?” he grunts, kissing me once more. I just smile as I pull my dress down, covering the evidence of what just happened. I turn to make my way down the hall, but he stops me. “Not so fast, gorgeous. You’re not walking away this time.” I stop, turn back to him and watch his gaze travel up and down my body. I must look like I just got fucked because his eyes tell me he wants to do it all over again.

“Wouldn’t dream of it,” I say, taking his hand in mine as I lead him out onto the dance floor.

“What’s that stupid look for?” Damon asks as he enters my office looking like he had a late night himself.

His dark brown hair looks disheveled and his suit is rumpled, but from the smile on his face, I’d say he doesn’t mind one bit. I’ve been staring at my phone for the last hour, looking at the text message JJ sent last night before she went to bed, and apparently I’m not good at hiding my expressions.

“Nothing,” I mutter, putting my phone back on my desk. I texted her when I woke up since the image of her hadn’t left my brain since I dropped her off last night after the bar. When she asked if I wanted to come in for “a drink” I knew I needed to leave, because the moment that door shut behind us? I would be all over her and wouldn’t stop until we were both sated. Yet I knew having JJ the way I wanted right now would be too fast. If I’m being honest, what happened in that hallway was too fast, but once I got my hands on her, I couldn’t stop.

“You’re such a fucking liar,” Damon chuckles as he sits down on the couch across the room. I’ve known Damon since we were kids. We grew up in the same circles, and discovered very early on that we both hated everything that came with money and privilege. Don’t get me wrong, it helped out a lot at times, but it also brought with it expectations that neither of us wanted. With as much time as we spent together as kids, we couldn’t be more opposite today. I’m at the office at all hours of the day, whereas Damon comes and goes as he pleases, something no one questions because he’s fantastic at his job. What Damon does outside of this office is none of my business, even though he’ll sit exactly where he’s sitting right now and tell me all about it.

“If you’re not going to explain why you look like a lovesick puppy, then let me tell you about my night. Because holy. Shit. The girl I hooked up with last night was wild.”

I roll my eyes as my phone vibrates beside me. I pick it up and smile.

JJ: Didn’t expect to hear from you for at least three days.

Me: Three days?

JJ: Isn’t that the rule? You make a girl come in an abandoned hallway and then wait three days to call her again? Or is that only after sex?

She sends a wink face emoji after her text and I can’t help but smile.

“What the hell are you smiling at, dude?” Damon mutters from the couch. I look up and sigh at the expectant expression on his face.

“I’m texting someone.” I don’t say who, but I’m pretty sure he knows.

“No shit, Sherlock. What I want to know is if it’s the girl you’ve been daydreaming about,” I grunt, and he smiles. “Finally,” he mutters as I groan, leaning back against my chair and texting JJ back.

Me: Considering I’ve been thinking about you and the sounds you made when my fingers were inside you all fucking night, I say six hours was long enough.

She doesn’t respond and I picture the blush I know is cresting across her cheeks. I look up to see a smirking Damon leaning forward on the couch, hands clasped in front of him. “What?” I ask as he just continues to sit there silently. He shakes his head and gets up, heading towards the door.

“I’m happy for you, man,” he says as he opens the door and walks out, not hiding the flirtatious look he gives my assistant. He walks toward his office and shuts the door, leaving me blissfully alone. I look back at the phone in my hands, seeing JJ still hasn’t responded, and I wonder if it was too much. God, I hope not, the idea of not seeing her again sits heavy in my stomach.

Me: Go out with me tonight.

I send hoping she wasn’t repulsed by my last text. It takes a few minutes but then my phone chimes and I smile at her response.

JJ: Tonight? That seems a little soon, don’t you think?

Me: I’m a desperate man, baby, and I want to see you again.

It’s not a lie. If I knew where she was right now, I would be there in a heartbeat, if only to watch her. Okay, maybe that’s a bit creepy, but I can’t help it. She’s been in my head for days. After a few minutes of no response, I pull the one trump card I know I have.

Me: I’ll bring the Camaro…

Within seconds she responds.

JJ: I’m in.

I smile at her adorable love for my car, a car I never really wanted in the first place but Damon told me to buy because it would be a chick magnet. I’ll have to thank him for that later.

Me: I’ll pick you up at seven
