“Come out, little lamb,” her voice called from behind the door. Only, it wasn’t her voice. It was as if the sound of the devil herself was speaking; so much fear knotted in the pit of my stomach, I wanted to scream. “The wolf is here.”

Lightning struck in the sky, immediately followed by loud, cracking thunder. Clouds covered the remaining light from the moon, shrouding me in darkness as the storm grew rapidly.

Was that Morgan or me?

The bathroom door blew open, the wood breaking into particles that flew about the small room.

Morgan hovered above the floor. Her eyes were completely black, even the whites, and a black essence was emanating from her like steam. Her hair was raised as if from static, and her mouth was open in a terrifying smile.

“I told you, little lamb,” she said in an inhuman voice, “I’m here.”
