I throw my head back, a bliss beyond orgasms filling me. I’d thought what there was between Niall and I was temporary, that when I’d let him fuck me in the ass the first time, it was just a means of denying someone else. But I’d given him everything, and now he’s made me his forever. No one else will ever touch me, ever have me, and the thought only heightens my pleasure as I push myself onto his thick cock, moaning as I take all of it.

“Give me more,” I plead, begging for it, and Niall does just that, pushing every inch into me as he looks down at me with hungry lust, watching me stroke my clit, covered in his cum, marked and claimed as his. He thrusts into me, seating every inch into my ass.

“You feel so fucking good,” he groans. “I’m going to fill your arse so full of my cum, fuck—”

“I’m going to come soon,” I pant, rubbing my clit faster, feeling my thighs tighten with the oncoming climax with every thrust of his cock in my ass. I reach down between us, pushing two fingers into my drenched pussy, and Niall lets out a groan of sheer need at the sight of me fingering myself while he fucks me in the ass.

“Ohfuck, that’s the hottest fucking thing,Christ—” he nearly snarls the words, fucking my ass harder, and I feel myself tensing up, about to come.

My orgasm rises hot and fast, bursting over me in waves of increasing pleasure, Niall’s fingers digging into my thigh, all of me filled up, and I cry out his name as he groans, his muscles flexing as his cock swells and throbs in my ass. I feel the heat of him filling me just as I reach the very height of my pleasure, my name spilling from his lips, moaning it over and over.

We collapse onto the bed together, shuddering and gasping. We lay like that for a long time before Niall helps me up, both of us going to shower. He kisses me over and over under the hot spray of water, our hands roaming everywhere as we cling to each other, and I know in that moment that I’m undoubtedly the happiest I’ve ever been.

The next morning, after another round of lazy, slow lovemaking and breakfast in bed, Niall takes me to the beach. We walk down past the waves, bundled up in sweaters, and Niall threads his fingers through mine.

“Is it too cold for you, lass?” he asks worriedly as we walk. “I did worry about that, bringing you here. Hell, I even worried about Boston. You’re used to the desert, and this especially is so different. But if you like it, I’d like to bring you here more often. Maybe even buy a second home here, one day—”

“I do like it,” I tell him sincerely, looking up at him. “I love it. Boston is beautiful, and our home there is beautiful, and our life is beautiful. I’d be thrilled if we had a second home here. I’d love to bring our children here one day, too.”

“Aye, I’m happy to hear you say that. All I want is for you to be happy, Isabella.”

Niall looks down at me, sincerity in his blue eyes, and I feel a ripple of happiness and yearning pass through me all at once.

“I am,” I tell him, and I mean it. “You’ve made me happier than I ever imagined I could be, honestly. I miss my family, especially my sister—but I know this is how things have to be, for now. I understand, even if it’s hard sometimes.” I let out a small sigh. “I really missed having Elena at the wedding.”

Niall squeezes my hand, stopping so he can turn and look down at me, cupping my cheek in his hand. “Maybe in time, we’ll find a solution to it, lass. I don’t want you to be separated from your sister forever. In time, we’ll find a way. I promise you that, aye?”

“Aye,” I whisper softly, teasingly mimicking his accent, and he laughs.

Then, with the wind ruffling our hair and the sound of the waves in the background, he bends and kisses me.

And truly, despite everything, I’ve never been happier.

When we come home from the honeymoon, we don’t get much time to slow down at first. Our doctor’s appointment right after arriving back home is where we find out the sex of our baby, and Niall is on pins and needles from the moment we leave.

“I don’t care either way,” he tells me firmly. “I don’t buy into all the bullshite about sons and heirs and all that. I want children with you, Isabella—daughters, sons, whatever we have.”

The appointment goes well, and we leave with an envelope with the information tucked inside. We wait until we get back home, mail tossed on the entryway table, and walk into the nursery with the envelope.

“You can be the one to look at it first,” Niall says. “Tell me when you’re ready.”

My heart is pounding as I open the envelope. I slip the piece of paper out, and my eyes fill with tears as I read the result.

“We’re having a girl,” I tell Niall softly, and his face lights up with such absolute joy that any fears I ever had about the disappointment a man might have over a daughter are banished completely.

“What do you think about Aisling?” Niall asks, his hands reaching for mine. “It means dream, in Gaelic. And all of this feels like a dream, Isabella—you, me, our life, our daughter. A dream I never thought I’d have.”

“Aisling Lupé Flanagan.” I say the name aloud, and I nod. “I love it.”

“Good.” Niall pulls me into his arms, kissing me deeply. “And I love you.”

In the entryway, I open up the mail, including the new copy of my identification with my new name. I show it to Niall, where it says Isabella Flanagan, and he glances at me, frowning slightly.

“You know you didn’t have to change it, right, lass? You could have stayed Santiago, if you wished.”
