“I might hate that.”

“It has a zipper,” I offer.

“Better.” He manages the last button and my dress gapes open in a very unsexy manner. Mase runs his finger along my stomach, from where the buttons begin up to the satin bow on my navy bra. “Fee?”

“Do you feel okay?” I ask, desperate for Mase to continue to touch me.

“Much better.” He presses his warm palm against my skin.

“You’re not nervous any more?”

“Scared out of my mind,” he admits. “But I’m good. You?”

“My stomach is okay.”

“I can tell.” He drops a kiss where his hand was only a moment before, and all the air leaves my lungs in a rush. Another kiss, and then he looks up at me. “This matters. I want it to be good for both of us.”

“You don’t think it’ll be good?”

He laughs. “Oh, it’ll be very good. I mean, it’s okay if you’re scared.”

I nod and keep nodding as I get up. Standing beside the bed, I pull my dress over my head in a quick movement.

Mase drinks me in, studying every not-so-perfect curve, his gaze taking in my spreading hips, the belly that I try to minimize. For once, I don’t hide in the darkness but stand straight and proud before my husband.

If he wants me, he needs to see all of me.

It’s the longest moment of my life, and then he holds out his hand with such a sexy smile that the knot in my stomach loosens as I lay back down on the bed beside him.

Mase

MakinglovetoFionais a revelation. Mainly because it’smaking love.

I do it again, just to make sure the first time wasn’t a fluke.

Chapter Fifteen

Fiona

Ifloatbacktomy room.

What started out as sweet and comfortable andfungot supercharged really fast. Mase is everything, but add in hot and sexy and talented and…wow. Just wow.

Even with my limited experience, I’d have to say Mase’s talents lie in the bedroom as well as in the ball field.

Generous is another good description.

It doesn’t help that Mase insists on walking me back to my room, sticking his head out of the elevator to check if the coast is clear, and touching me constantly. How can I think of anything else when his hand is on my back, my butt, or playing with my hair?

How am I going to think of anything after today?

We stop a few doors away from my room—aka the danger zone since Bexley’s room is right across the hall—and I make sure I have a least six inches between me and Mase.

“You might want to take these.” He offers me the shopping bag of shoes, with the jewelry tucked inside.

I’m not sure I’ll show anyone. I don’t know what to tell them, how to lie that there’s nothing going on with Mase and me.

Because if you saw us together, how could you not see the chemistry zapping between us? The way he looks at me, how my gaze constantly slides back to him…
