I hate what she does to me. I hate that she triggers every demon inside me, raising them to the surface and calling out to them to wreak havoc. I cut her again, this time just above her belly button. This time the cut is bigger, but it’s still controlled and as soon as I feel the loss of that control start to slip, I toss the knife out of my hand onto the floor. I roll my hips, stirring myself deeper inside her pussy while I slide my hand through the mess I’ve made of her skin.

I smear her blood all over her hot little body, pushing my hand up between her tits, slipping over her neck, before I wrap my hand around her jaw.

“You look divine when you bleed.” I tense my fingers, admiring the bloody prints they leave on her cheek. Her thrusts against me become more erratic, and I’m gonna fucking come if I don’t act fast. Using my strength, I flip her onto her back, and keeping her in the arch of my hand, I look down at her body and admire every inch of it.

I lower my body down hers so I can taste her tainted skin, my tongue working through the mess I’ve made of her. She fists at my hair, holding my face to her body while I lick and kiss her all the way back up again.

“You’re fucking perfection,” I hiss at her when my eyes find hers. Then I bite her lip and make her moan before finding my place inside her again and fucking her slow.

I savor every inch inside her blood-slick skin slipping against mine. I don’t care about the mess it’s gonna make. I’ll make us both clean after. I’ll soothe her wounds and I’ll take care of her. No one will ever hurt her again.

And if it’s pain she wants, I’ll be the one to give her it.

Something inside me tells me that I’d give her anything.

It’s just past 2pm when I finish up in the garage. Grimm stopped by earlier to fuck me on the desk again before he rode out with Jessie and Nyx, and now I’m left with nothing to do.

I have no idea how long Skid expects me to stay at the club. But I’m not angry about that anymore… I’m not gonna leave now, not with things working out so well with me and Grimm.

But I do want to get out of here for a few hours, and I know just the place to go to pass some time until he gets back.

The thought of seeing Anita excites me, and the more I find out about Richie Carter, the closer I feel to Grimm. Since me and him are a thing now, I figure I deserve to know everything. That, and I’m actually growing to like the woman.

I sign in at reception and make my way toward her room, knocking before I let myself in.

“Evangeline.” Anita looks pleased to see me when she greets me with one of her warm maternal hugs.

“I wasn’t expecting to see you so soon. Is everything okay?”

She looks worried all of a sudden.

“Everything’s fine, I was just passing and thought I’d stop by.”

“Well, I’m so glad that you did.”

“Peter’s away with work and it gets so boring with no one here to take care of… Good gracious.” Anita looks horrified when her eyes fall to my hands. They’re a little stained from oil, but they’ve been much worse.

“Come with me,” she ushers me into the bathroom. It’s even cleaner than Grimm’s, if that’s even possible. Leading me to the basin, she runs the warm water and pumps the aromatic hand wash onto my hands. Then she focuses all her attention on getting the black stains off my skin. Her fingers scrubbing until they make me sore and the water almost scalding me.

When she’s satisfied that they’re clean, she empties the basin and rinses them off with cooler water before carefully patting them dry with a towel.

“There, that’s better, we can’t have you getting into trouble, can we?” Her smile is warm and, doing my best to hide my confusion, I follow her back to the couch.

She seems calm again now, and it explains where Grimm gets his obsession with cleanliness from.

“You must tell me, did you speak to that boy you’re fond of?” she asks with a newfound excitement in her tone.

“I did,” I admit, feeling a little strange talking to Anita about her own son, even if she is oblivious.

“And…?” Her eyes widen and I can tell she’s genuinely excited.

“It went well, we’re kind of a thing now.”

“Well that’s fantastic. See, I told you he would like you…” She pauses to read my expression. “Why do you look so worried?” she asks with concern in her voice.

“We’re complicated. Both of us have issues, we’ve got pasts that neither of us are prepared to share. It makes it difficult.”

“I see.” Anita places her hands on her lap and thinks for a moment.
